Hey guys since i wasnt really understanding how to negg i thought of some stuff i was curious if these would qualify as a neg and if they do would they be good.. For example

Her: ahh my hair looks so ugly
Me: yeh i know but i guess its cute (with a confused face)

Her: Wow i look so ugly without my makeup
Me: Yeh dont mention it but your still cute to some level

I'd be carefull negging a girl who is already DLV'ing her self... this can be a slipper slope, where it's much easier to fall into the over Neg zone.

If a girl does this kind of DLVing thing around me I'd likely say something to the effect of

ME: "Are you fishing for a compliment again?"

Then calibrate based off her response... if she seems genuinely DLV'ed by the situation I'll compliment her... If this is a shit-test I'll carefully tease.

We want to make sure not to DLV to much, the goal isn't to make the girl feel bad, just to get her off guard.

Practice... You need to do alot more talking m friend. Witt and conversational skills are just that skills. I advocate talking to people all the time, shoot a compliment at the nice old lady who greets you at Wal-Mart crack a joke with the guy who gives you your burger in the drive through... talk talk talk, you'll find yourself getting better with practice.

When you get used to shooting jokes, compliments, negs, questions etc etc etc out It'll be easy for you to come up with your own material on the spot.

Oh also you may want to watch some stand up. I recommend Robin Williams and Dane Cook very highly to kind of show you some interesting role modelling for witt. You don't want to mimic persay but kind of integrate the essence if you will to help you get started with your inner comedian.

This means she's feeling insecure and DLV'ed about her looks right now... whats our yin/yang - push/pull when it comes to Negs? Neg/Comfort. I'd be really carefull We're no wolves jumping on victims when there weak and destroying them.

I'd say a better use would be if she said something like this

HB: "Good my hair looks so fantastic today!"
ME: "I thought it was a wig"


Also I'd be carefull about the wig one... I use something similiar as an online opener and about 80% of the responses are pissed off and if you do this on an "ugly duckling" (SHB who doesn't know she is) your fucked... because she see's herself as a 7 or so... and thats way way to harsh for a 7.

Edit: That was posted by TMT, but I'm pretty sure that it was in The Game, so I don't know whether he came up with it on his own or took it from that.
