Hey guys, I've thought of an interesting intro to opening a set... I haven't field-tested it yet, but I will be later this week when I go out. Your opinions to refine it would be great, though.

(Walk into a set, preferably a 3-set or 4-set, and approach the target. Open the target with the following:

Me: (looking/acting really creepy) hiii.... you're prettyy... i saw you from far away and i reaaalyyyy wanted to meet you....
Target: Uhhhh.... heh... thanks?
Me: Just kidding, hi I'm [name], nice to meet you!

Then introduce yourself to the rest of the group and proceed with a story ("I only got a minute, but let me ask you guys a question...") or whatever. I imagine to pull it off you'd have to be really playful and have a big smile after you say "just kidding", but it could open a set pretty easily and the girls would definitely be intrigued.

Thoughts? Opinions?

This sounds like it has a lot of calabriation behind it for it to work. Usually the method is to not let the group know that your interested in the target.

Unless you mean by just kidding ... like im just kidding that your good looking.

seems like it would be followed by awkward laughter and uncomfortable exchange of glances.

It sucks dude, don't use it - you're creating your first impression as the creepy guy so you're opening and then gonna instantly have to try and recover (if that makes sense).
