So i asked this girl out last week but i feel it was a mistake as there is no attraction (there was initiallY but just when we hooked up), we just get along well as friends.

Should i wait a while to see if attraction grows or just end it asap as to not give her the wrong idea?

Just call it what it is and tell her that you can't make it out, something came up.
If you want to be honest and tell her that you don't have any attraction towards her, you can do that as well. Or there is the classic, I still have feelings for my ex and I don't think it's fair to you...(Granted, there is no ex). It's another way to let her off easy.

My question to you is, why did you ask in the first place, there was obviously something there?

You can also go and let it turn into a lets just be friends scenario, I have done this before and have walked away with some great conversation and good friends...that is, unless she is bold and ruffies your drink...but then...is that really bad?

Just try and do it in a loving manner, because you never know how she feels about it..
