Tonality is essential the tone in which your voice carries.
Do you speak too loud that it's annoying? Too soft to be heard?
Do you talk too fast out of anxiety or insecurity? Do you talk too slow to give the impression that you're unintelligent?

There is a popular (albeit disputed) formula called: 55-38-7. It says that 55% of your overall message is body language, 38% is how you say something, and only 7% is actually what you say. So you can see that how you say something, how fast you say it, and your volume depend alot more than the words.

To continue on what Massa said, men typically really focus on that verbal 7%. We place emphasis on words because theyre good for practical stuff; making plans, giving directions etc. Put simply, words are good at expressing facts.

On the other titty, women tend to focus on that other 93% because its the stuff that makes up emotional language. The tonality of your voice can make the same sentence sound incredibly different. If a girl playfully gives you crap, you wouldnt yell "KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF" at her, but you might coyly say it to her with a smile.

Early in an interaction you typically want a higher, more energetic tonality as you're all about having fun and sparking attraction by being playful. But when you slow things down and start shifting to comfort/rapport you cant keep talking fast and high pitched; you need to literally slow down, make your voice deeper, even whisper to her as you get further along.

Make more sense now Tyrell?
