Im not sure how to proceed when you ask a girl to hang out and she responds with a "im busy".
Do I suggest other days, ex: Lets hang out Friday (if busy Friday then suggest Saturday, Sunday, etc...)
I had just asked this girl if see wanted to get together this Friday but she said she has plans but also added that "we would figure something out" (taking this as a sign of interest)
Now should I just ask her again later in on during the week, and do I come on strong suggesting Sunday is good for me, or should I ask when its good for her?

Is it desperate to let her call the shots? She is much busier then I am, whats the best approach here?

find out when she's not busy and do something during that time... if she resists just go on to another girl or call her like a month later

Whats a good time to ask again? Or ask when shes free?
I am thinking of asking her to a local mall for Sunday (I have some shit to do there anyway), but should I ask today or wait a bit longer?
Also should I tell her that I need to goto the mall (kind of with or without you, but im inviting you anyway) and ask her to join me? Or should I make it seem like I want her there saying I could use a woman's opinion or something...

I asked a set from my old job to come out, told them to call me(had my number from my AFC days). Im pretty sure they wont, and next time i goto visit them(i have family working there too) i will have a pivot with me. Then i may be a little more assertive, like setting up a time and day, but making it so that im goin out with or without them...but i am allowing them to come.

But I dont know when to ask her again? Whats the rule on this? The thing is shes pretty busy and I dont know if she is available Sunday, so if I tell her that im going to be at the mall and shes working or whatever, this will be twice I ask her to hang out and no success...
