Alright you guys, just some background...
Met girl through a friend on facebook. She added me and told her friend that she thought I was really cute. I tell her she's cute also. She gives me her number, we text n what not. Finally, I grew some balls and asked her on a date and she, to my amazement, says yes! So we go to the city and hangout for a bit. I got some IOI's (i'm new so please correct me if something is used wrong) but I just could not bring myself to hold her hand like when we were overlooking the city in an overpass thing, we stood next to each other looking out the window and it was almost as if she was waiting for me to do something, looking at me once in a while. Anyhow, date was fun, nothing really happened except a little cuddling with our heads at the show when she scooted closer and leaned her head on my shoulder. After, we drive home, she gives me a hug, and she leaves.

Now this is where I'm stumped. I wasn't really too quiet and we had a good time and conversed. But for some reason every time I ask her to come hangout with me, she always asks "what will we do?" and I reply with something like, "umm i dunno, hangout? lol." She always turns down my offer. But when somebody asked her to do something with them, she says yes. I'm stuck and have no idea what to do next. What am I doing wrong? What is the next step?

My friend she smelled the wretched stench of fear all over you! It's a tough situation as we have all been there at some point. Here is exactly what happened. With women you have a small window of opportunity. SMALL! If you don't take advantage the window closes and you are shut out! It's very unlikely the window will open again. Move on and find another girl. Basically when you failed to escalate she lost attraction and respect.

I see... well damn. That's kinda what I figured :/. Oh well I guess it's time to start working on my social fears. I've been reading a bit on some newbie stuff and I'm about to hit up the mall and overcome some of it. Thank you for the input!

Well no problem man but keep this in mind next time. Nothing is more attractive to females than a confident guy that takes charge. No fear! When you feel it grab her and kiss her! You won't get rejected!

ooohhhh man. I just get so nervous when it comes to something like that. Like when she came by and picked me up I was sitting in her passenger seat shaking a little bit with my hands dripping in sweat. I was able to push that fear out eventually and did have a wonderful time being myself. But making that leap to do something just has me stuck. Once again thank you! I will remember this next time!

LOL! It's all good dude! I'm guessing you're still a younger guy? Late teens/early twenties? I'm in my mid thirties and trust me after you've kissed a few chicks, you will crave the chance to grab her and go straight cave man on her! It gets easier with experience. Not long ago I was out with a girl that was talking way too much so I told her to shut up already and kissed her. Trust me it makes them moist down south! HA!

Haha yup you guessed right. I'm 21. And yeah that's partly the reason why I came here. My friend had me read The Game by Neil Strauss, because he knows that I can be a complete weiner when it comes to women lol. So any advice and critique really helps me as I get over this shyness. Just wish I could repeat my high school years now that I have a little better understanding lol.

I did this two weeks ago with a girl I really like and I just can't stand myself. It's such a disgrace! Anyway I hope you won't make the same mistake in the future
