So this is what happened:

There's this girl that just broke up with her BF.
3 days after her break-up, she and I went for some sushi.
Lots of IOI's whilst calling or texting.

We met at some crossroad to make our way to the restaurant and right at that very moment her ex-bf calls her and turned her into an emotional wreck.

This is what I did:
I tried listening to whatever she told but got bored, been doing the cocky funny thing, did some KINO but just couldn't get it 'sexy'. She offered to pay, I accepted. Took the first bus home.

Now what would you have done (or what should I have done)?

In my experience when a woman becomes an emotional wreck there is not much you can do. Some might make the argument that you could take advantage of her emotional state but I don't know. If you sit and listen to her problems you could just become her good buddy. On the other hand I've gotten laid by listening to their problems. This is where it becomes a bit of an art form. You have to judge carefully where you stand with her. If she views you as a good friend right now and nothing more then I would say there is a good chance you will stay that way. If she is attracted to you already then listening to her problems may amp up the attraction and get you laid. So in short - good luck!

That's a bummer, i think you just had bad luck, cuase she's totally not in the mood for new relationship etc, if she's messed up bout the previous, give it some time would be my advice
