I've only been asked this after at least k-closing, but I had success (f-close) with this line:

"i'm not going to lie, I'm a huge flirt but I just got out of a relationship (not completely true) so I'm not looking for anything serious."

Or answer with this question. "What do you think?"
It may be because a girl has said something about you (my situation). In which case I responded with something to the effect of "dont believe everything you hear" and enticed her to find out for herself.
