Heres the story...

I'm 23, shes probably 21-22

I went to a new place to get my hair cut last thursday. I went in about an hour before close, when they are usually not busy to see what was there. This little hottie came rushing from the way back (there was 12 or so hair stylists sitting around doing nothing) to cut my hair.

She happily greated me, and asked if I needed a cut... of course I did. she took me to her chair and I told her what I wanted.

I then begain to make some small talk with her. She asked me what I did for a joib, and I expressed I own a business. I asked her if she went out last weekend (pardade day here... exciting time) she said that she did, but she went home early since she wasn't having much fun becuase she was with just her friend and her boyfriend (not the hair stylist I wants).

She asked what I did, I said yeah I went out too but kept it short that I had a great time with friends.

We then talked about the upcomings weekend plans... and she told me how she was going downtown again, but wasn't too excited to go out since she was going alone to meet up with some people.

I told her that I was going out of town to another parade to meet up with tons of people.

I made sure to show some interest in her job, and asked how long she was styling hair and what not, and she went on a bit about how shes been there for a year or so but she just flys under the radar since theres so much drama.

She asked me a bunch of times if this and that was ok with the cut and I said yeah it looks excellent. She asked how short to make things, and I said whatever you think looks good.

she also was smiling a bit at me, and constantly making eye contact.

she rung me out, and I told her she was great at cutting hair, and we chatted how it's hard to find a good stylist. I asked her if this was the kind of place you can make appointments... (they all are haha). She said oh yes, then was like "let me give you a card" she then proceeded to write down her schedule on the back for me. we spoke for another 1-2 minutes, this is when I think I should have asked for her number, but i wasn't sure she was interested.. I'm a bit rusty at this.

So heres the questions since i've got this little thing on my mind.

was she telling me she was single by saying she didn't like being out cause she was alone?

think shes interested or just looking for repeat business/tip? Do they usually write their schedules down?

I chickened out on asking for her number since I'm new to the picking up since i was in a LTR of like 3.5 years that ended like a month ago.

I was thinking of going back for a trim this week and using the excuse I have a important business meeting later in the day for why I'm there so soon... honestly I just want her number, I could care less about the haircut.

What would you guys do? Whats a good way to proceed and ask her for her number... she is good at cutting hair, but i'm not afraid to still go back after denial haha.

My opinion if uyoure new to Pickup hired guns are harder than normal to pick up so i wouldnt of think you have done it.

Thanks, yeah that's what i'm mixed about since she is a hired gun haha.

Honestly, I usually dont talk much with hair dressers cause I find them annoying like that.

I didn't get that overall feeling she was working for a tip. when i gave her a tip she continuted to talk to me after. I was sure to tip her decent I always am a good tipper even if they are a fat slampig, it's just polite haha if they do a good job. I'm smart enough to never over tip attractive ones so they dont feel "purchased"

I'm thinking of going back to see what's up with another cut to see if I can de-code this one a bit more... Ill probably go thursday mid morning. so.. i'm hoping for some advice for when i do go. She had some awesome plans this past weekend I was going to show her that I remembered her by asking her if she got to ride in a limo saturday or not. he plans involved something with a limo, and she was excited about it.

by the way she's not the hottest one in there, shes like a 6-7 the rest are 9-10s. haha I know I dont have the game yet to try for 9s and 10s this is what i like to call rebound time for me. haha.

One thing I know is I gotta try otherwise haha theres no point in wondering. stupid womens been on my mind since.

yes she is a hired gun and therefore she talks to you and makes you think that she has enough interest that you will leave her with a big nice tip.
hired guns get hit on all the time so that is not an option.

right now in your case you don't have enough knowledge whether to tell if she liked you or not and you wont get any by asking the web because we know nothing more than you since we werent there. in other words this isn't Yahoo Answers.

what you wanna be is a guy just having fun with her and playing around.
- use the disqulifier
- dont show interest.
- good use of neg hits if shes 8/9/10
- you may come back so you have more comfort to game on her next time

the good thing about HG's is that they want to play and the better thing is that that hired gun has the time to chat around and play however they dont as bartenders and so on.

this is a really hard hired gun case so if i were you i'd just come back and get her number and meet her a few days later. you have nothing to lose anyways.

you see this is the hard part and you made it even harder because of lack of balls last time .
i'm pretty sure we've all been in situations like these though we weren't able to actually meet and see them ever again. like a boattrip in europe 2 years ago, i was noob, afc and so on but there was this hot hot girl FLIRTING with me and shit but no balls = no number. i never ever saw her again after that... but now you have the chance to see her again so your in luck.

what your problem is though is that she's a busy women i suppose and you can't walk in just to chat and get a number yet thats what i'd do if possible.
consider the last conversation you had with her before you do whatever you do. how much do you know about her? if you were her what would you think is that same guy came in for my number?

i might actually just go in and talk maybe with a time limit (business meeting in 6 minutes) and get her number after talk.
what you talk about before a number close is up to you but its gotta be in this direction:
you: have you seen the movie Blablabla (the graduate is a fav with girls) (the doors is a fav after a party when alone).
HB: no blabla?
You: i think i have it on DVD you should come home to my place and see it next friday
HB: yeah? maybe..?
You: oh shit i gotta go, but whats your number?

... or something. study some number close before.


the 2 options to consider:
Pay for her number but less awkward
Get her number but less chance and more awkward

if i were you i wouldn't even still think of this girl because you failed first time.
im 50% on both though, you could even wait till you really need a haircut and then get it if shes there.

good advice, I think i'm going to wait on going back a few more days. probably like tuesday of next week. I've got her schedule so i'll set an appointment towards the end of the evening or early morning if I dont have work so she's not rushed with getting to the next customer. I'm actually going to be going shopping at the mall later tonight to find some new clothes for spring, so i'm thinking of stopping in later in the evening to make an appointment and see if she greats me or if someone else does.

plus while i'm at the mall, i'm going to try some of these openers i've seen on here with some other hired guns like those sexy little greaters at the stores, to get my rejection on and confidence up for this weekend.

there should be plenty to talk about since we talked the whole time, I was sure never to just let the conversation die if there was a pause, I would bring something else up. Ive realized i'm a nervous person so by even talking the whole time I'm breaking that habbit, which is step one to getting back in the game.

for an opening to conversation i'm going to show her that I remembred what we were talking about the last time and bring it up first thing. So she has the idea that I remembered her, and to make her think i'm not just a number seeking pig haha.

I'm gunna try and get her number earlier in the week to play it cool and if I get it, I'll try and get her out for the weekend or something.

I'll see how it goes, any other suggestions?

PS: I know that I should have asked for it there... now I have to go back to show I have any balls at all. ahaha shyness is my killer, i've gotta overcome it... to be more of a player.

we were talking at the end and I sucked end of story.
