Hey guys

Ok one of the girls who I have found on the pof site has thrown me a curve ball totaly.

i sent her a wicked message after i got her type and all and in return she has replied with a deep message, much more detail than i expected. She wants to know more about me and likes what she has heard so far and even wants to meet me for a drink.. and to top it of she is a total Hb10..

but......

at the end of the message she states that although she likes what she hears and wants to meet me soon that nothing romantic could ever happen between us as im too tall............go figure

Im 6"3 and she is 5"1 .. personally thats perfect for me but its thrown me. Of all the objections ive ever had thats the wierdest.

So what should i do ,,, persue it? and just think screw it and game her when i see her and try and overcome it or Drop it?
Is that a flat out objection or a cover for something else...?
I had to throw it to the forum coz it has confused me..

I think that is just her making sure that you want to meet her for you. If you don't meet her now, you'll just have confirmed her suspicions. I really think statements like that don't even matter.

I think youre right. It just seemed a bit strange but after thinkin about it you hit the nail on the head. thats not an objection thats just a test..

It's a shit test alright, as if she could care less about you being taller as long as you're not shorter. Totally ignore it.

Rule of thumb for PUA's reading this: If it creates an emotional response in you it's a shit test.

Back when I was totally rubbish women, when they said disqualifiers, I would take them seriously and stop trying or take them as rejection.

Now from experience I just take them as jokes or ignore them. Just tell her to bring some phone books or a box to stand on. Just meet her and have fun.

The stupidest one I've gotten online recently was, that she likes pineapple on her pizza and I say in my profile that it should be illegal so she said she couldn't see a future for us together, but this was her reply after a first message! But you're further down the line than that so don't let the disqualifier worry you.

Ok the messages have kept coming,, now she wants to meet me, and even says that she she hasnt met anyone yet... she wants to meet me if i still "want to be friends" and wishes me luck in finding a girlfriend in the mean time... then says that she's not too bothered about finding a boyfriend and she can be patient.

Like you at first I nearly took this as a one way ticket to the no sex zone but now to me at least its coming across as more transparent,,, ive got a total open pass for the meet and the good luck in finding a girlfriend is way to obvious i think and as far as the patient comment goes i take that as another sign that she just wants to get to know ssomeone first with no pressure you know...

But she is definitley interested... argee disagree?

Can't really say if she's interested or not until you meet in real life. You obviously get on well online but it may not be the case in real life, or you might get on even better in real life.

Sounds like she's nervous as it's her first meeting and doesn't want any expectations going in, from you or from her and she doesn't want to rush into anything.

So just go meet, have fun and see where it leads.

If she's adamant she's not taking up a boyfriend, which is a little weird since she's on a dating site, then you might make a new friend to increase your social circle and she in turn could have more hot friends.

The previous advice is spot on. When you meet up tease her that she is too short for you.
