So I have had a lot of success with this, and think it works great in places where it is loud. I have number closed girls who have I have never said a single word to doing this, have done it during the day, at work, and in the clubs with a girl I'm dancing with.

Just hand them the phone.
They know what you want.

The only problem I seem to find, is that occasionally, probably due to the lack of communication before hand, they ignore and or don't respond to calls/texts.

I usually follow it up within a couple hours with a text if it was during the day something that happened during time together.

What do you guys think, good idea bad idea?

If I had to guess, it would be that you havent established enough rapport with your sets: they don't know you well enough to return texts or phone calls. Let's examine this from the female perspective.

They are hammered with phone calls and texts everyday. The more attractive the girl, the more frequent it is. This means that if you want a girl to take time out of her busy day to return your call, you need to have made some sort of an impression on her. This could be either good or it can even be bad (depending on how you calibrate it. I've opened sets across the room by giving them the finger: no guy ever gives a set the finger. Differentiate yourself from the masses. This is why I am so against "Stock, canned material" that is so common on these forums. DONT BE LIKE EVERYONE else.). Even better, establish "Conspiracy" with your target. Come up with an inside joke to fall back on.

Your target spills her drink during the night? She just earned the nickname "Dopey". Text her the next day "How we doing, Dopey?" She will know IMMEDIATELY who it is because of how you differentiated yourself from the pack.

So, make an impression, establish enough rapport with your target to make her feel comfortable returning phonecalls/texts, and if you can get Conspiracy, so much the better! It's an inside joke and common connection you two will always share from that point onward.

honestly most girls will flake after this, they think "typical club douchebag", i've done this same thing when i first started clubbing, it's best to type in your phone "hey follow me" then take her off somewhere to establish some comfort before asking for her number

Yes, it's important to build report first. I #-closed 2 girls last night who were bouth very eager to give their #, but haven't answer since cause I didn't build any report. So I guess I'm that 'club douchebag'
However I do totally agree that it's smart to hand her the phone without really asking for anything.
