Ok...here is the situation. It is about 3 AM and two friends and I are walking around and looking for a pizza after sarging a few bars. We finally find a spot. The line is long but we had some entertainment while waiting. One HB8, really drunk and really loud got into an argument with a muscular dude and she ABUSED HIM. She handed him his own ass and he walked away pissed and everyone in the pizzeria was clapping for her. She felt like a million BUCKS.

My friends and I got our pizza and we sat at the table directly behind her. She was with 3 guy friends and a chick. She is really loud, dominating the entire table and conversation and constantly recapping how awesome she is for telling that guy off. And those AFCs she's with keep feeding her ego.

At one point I decide to go for it. As I am talking to my friend I say SHHHHHHHH....She turns around, stops her convo and looks at me...I say "You are way to loud" and immediately get back into the conversation with my friend. She continues talking with her friends but I definatly poked a hole into her ego.

I continue talking with my two boys and one of them says SHHHH to me. The HB turns around and assumes it's for her again. The convo goes some what (i don't remember exact details) like this....

HB: Hey are you shhhhing me

Me: Hey, that wasn't for you. You clearly have some issues with
your loudness.

Her to her guy friend: wow this guy is in my head

HER: You know I think your very cute

Me: Thanks, you look good as well, you just have to lower your voice a bit. Are you some sort of CEO?

Her: (SCREAMING) Yea that's right bitch, I am the mayor of New York

Me: (Yelling in a Positive tone over her) OK, OK, you clearly aren't a CEO but your definatly a supervisor at WALMART at least!!! You have your price tape in your purse don't you? Ready to cut some prices

At this point her whole table and my friends erupt in laughter

Her: (Playing along) Yea I am all about the bluelight special....

After this we begin talking about how she totally punked the guy. She was like:

HB: Yea did you see everyone clapping for me.

ME: I definatly didn't clap but I thought it was funny how you told him off. Well done sport.

HB: Yea he said he was going to kick my ass. What kind of guy says that.

At this point I try to make a joke how I've fought over 300 women and I've kicked all their asses. It goes bad. She doesn't let me get to the punchline and she is like OK CONVERSATION OVER and turns around.

I act completely unaffected and continue talking to my friends. I see her turning around every now and again to see if I cared and I totally didn't.

We all finish eating and are going to walk out. As we are walking out she pulls me aside and says "Hey I am Jen by the way." I say, "Pleasure to meet you JEN, my name is Steve."

Then I turn around and walk out cooly and confidently knowing that I just burst this confidant girls ego. But here is the problem. That is not all that I wanted!!! I wanted to get her number and continue further conversation. I wanted to continue more convo in pizzeria even but I didn't know how to proceed. She was attracted. Should I have just started asking her what she does for living etc... then asked for her number and told her we would continue the conversation some other time??

I'll appreciate all and any input. Thanks guys!

i've used this once in a kind of similar situation where you casually talk to a girl and think she's interested in you but you don't have the time to close. When she gives you her name and asks for yours tell her that you're not going to tell her, but if she's interested she can have your number and try to find out later. I've used it twice so far. It's worked once but didn't lead to a close. It's worth doing if you haven't exchanged names but have built attraction and figure it's probably a shot in the dark anyways.

That Walmart joke got me laughing a little. Ive noticed the conversation wasnt anything linear you said CEO she said Mayor you said Walmart, which give me the full impression next time my conversation dont all have to be linear. A little tactic David Deangelo uses in having a time constraint when first meeting a new girl is "blah blah Im leaving or have no time...You have email"? Asking for her quick email would of kept both of ya connected.

It is only a dead end if you base your communication entirely on email, but if after email you transition to phone, then physically meeting its all good.

yes...i would have asked for her number...i just think e-mail is a little lame...

When thinking about it, I probably should have hooked her with some DHV routine and then told her I have to go, my friends and I all have work tomorrow so we have to get home, but give me your number and we'll continue this conversation another time.

i personally like writing my number in pen on a girl's wrist. everytime i've done it it always seems really unconventional and kind of a dominant thing to do. Odds are it won't get erased for awhile so when she wakes up she'll see it and remember who you are. Sometimes a girl will just say "no you should just put it on my phone." You can just smile and say something like "do you want my number or not" or give her some sense that you're busy and need to go.
i've had mixed emotions about this but i think it's just nice to do something different and girls remember that shit.

nice! i like that idea a lot...if she would say "no, i don't want writing on my wrist" i may say, "listen, i want you to wake up tomorrow and I want my number to be the first thing you see" and if she opposes again i will resort to "alright, your not the adventerous type, here's my number"

(Still new, correct me if I'm wrong).
I personally think the MM number closer could have worked well here.

"Hey I'm Jen by the way."
"Hi Jen, I'm Steve. We're gonna jet now, so lets see how creative you can be." *Hand her a pen and paper*
If she writes her number, cool, if not you say
"That's not very creative Jen. Here I'll give you a hint."
*Write _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ - _ _ _ on the paper*
"I have to GO now..."

Prefer the idea of getting the girl's number than giving her yours and hoping she calls. Keeps the power in your court.

maybe something like:

"Ok, I'm leaving now. Since I love listening to you talk so much why don't you give me your digits?"
