Hey guys

So this chick that I used to date is back in town, making ammends and basically kissing my ass for me to take her back.

I had crazy oneitis for her but thats subsided drastically since she left me for a guy with more money...

Now were in an open relationship with 2 rules.

No hooking up with friends, and when were together, WERE TOGETHER!

Now i crash at a friends house fairly often and we usually use his place as a weekend shag pad.
His an awesome guy but super alpha. The other night I came back from my travels early (I travel for sport most weekends)
and spent the day with HB and friend. I then headed off to bed cos my energy was low however the two of them stayed up for hours
and had an awesome time together. She got completely trashed and I could see she was hanging on his every word. He's a great story teller.

She cheated with me on her ex boyfriend.

I'm not sure If im just being paranoid or what, but I can see that the two of them had a good connection and I'm not sure If I'm ok with that.
He has got very good natural game (better than me maybe?) and I can now see how he unintentionally amogs me every now and then. I've now started amoging back. He has not kino'd at all and neither has she.

I feel this weird jealousy that i don't feel if shes out hooking up with some random... for example, shes got a date with a rockstar (YES ROCKSTAR!) some time (he asked her she said she'd let him know) and they fucked in a jacuzzi once upon a time! lol

Any advice? Thoughts?

Thanks guys

In an open relationship, the details of who and what are none of your (or her) business. If there is any discussion about such topics from either party, feelings will get hurt, and it won't last. Are you sure you're ready for that?

Also, it seems you still have romantic feelings for this girl. That is where your possessive jealousy stems from. If so, you'll have trouble making this work.

If your rule is "no hooking up with friends" and she starts hooking up with your friend, then the only thing you can do is end the relationship or put up with it.

Well... to each his own. An open relationship sounds like a bad idea here. I hope you don't get burned.

Yes, that was my reaction too. Basically, you're dreaming. Doesn't matter what rules or boundaries you two utter, it ain't gonna happen. If you don't like it, you can either deal with those feelings until you feel differently, or get out of the "relationship." I don't know why you'd expect to be comfortable with it or that it would be easy to deal with the emotions of such a situation. Genetically, your nads are probably telling you you're supposed to kill this guy to prevent him cuckolding "your woman." There's no evolutionary survival advantage to allowing other guys to fuck "your woman."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating violence about relationships. I'm just saying that the feelings come from somewhere tangible, grounded in our biological prehistory. You can swim against them if you like, humans can adapt to all sorts of things. We all have a flinching reflex to keep our eyeballs safe, but it doesn't stop a professional fighter.

This concept of "your woman" is certainly prevalent in this forum. However, I'm not sure it is totally determined by genetics. Another discussion for another day, maybe, but what you said is true. If you have such possessive feelings, you'll undoubtedly fail in an open relationship. That cloth is not cut for everyone.

For those with experience in open relationships (Blondguy?...) Wouldn't you say that in this circumstance you'd ask for exclusivity, when you develop such a possessive disposition?

/thread hijack :)
