I am a firm believer that the most important thing to understand when approaching, opening, cold reading, or closing to understand her body language. The tongue can lie, but the eyes and body can't. You can tell a significant amount from a woman you are interested in just by understanding basic body language principles. Here are the basic of basics when you are looking for signals. Also, I like to use the pour body language from women and turn them into negs and get them self conscious about how you are perceiving her.

Yea man mentalism books are brilliant for this sort of thing. I've read a few which i can post once i'm back at my place. (I cant for the life of me remember authors or publishers) But i started with Easy Mentalism which i got as an e-book.

It teaches you that everything is not as black and white as you wrote it, like that open arms and crossed legs can mean a willing ness to be open but with reservations. I have personally found that little differences like that can mean a whole lot.

Any tips on facial expressions, especially looking into the eyes?
I'm great at keeping eye contact, but I have to admit that I'm not that good at reading people's facial expression unless it's very obvious. I'd appreciate any tips.
