So about 2 weeks ago, I met this girl at a restaurant, she waited on me. I happened to notice that she was working w/ a girl that I knew from school, so the next day at school I asked the girl about the one who waited on me. She told me to add the other girl on FB, which I did and we have sent a few messages back and forth, usually like one a day. The last messages went like this:

Me: So I really don't now anything about you, you should enlighten me

Girl: Well what do you want to know?!

Me: Idk lol, anything. Just tell me about urself, like what do u do for fun?

It has been days since that message, and she has not replied yet. I have next to no experience talking to girls online, did I say something wrong? What could I say to get the convo going again? Maybe this is a stupid post, I just have no idea what to do....

You didn't lead. You asked her an open question and she didn't know how to answer it, so you then asked the same open question again. You should have reduced the scope of the question the second time round...

i don't know, tell me what do you do for fun? what are you most passionate about? If you were an alien, who on earth would you abduct?

Whatever, just give her a more narrow question to answer.

There's a couple of different ways to re-engage, you can comment on one of her wall posts, something fun and playful, little back and forth hopefully then stop and send her another message a few days later.

Or maybe just wait till after the weekend and send her a quick message, oh I had an amazing weekend, how was yours?
