| For those of you who do not know, I have joined this forum just a little while ago. Through it I met Majik, a PUA from New Brunswick NJ, which is a few hour drive from me. We agreed to do a workshop and then take it into the field.
As I pulled into K's apartment complex where we were to meet, I saw K and Majik waiting outside very eager to meet me as I was to meet them. We were there that day to talk about building a life, what works, and what does not.
We began our day by going over the Mystery Method. These two have been in the game for far longer then I have, so they taught me.
After learning the basics of A1 and a little of A2, 3, Comfort, and Seduction we went to the Mall in Cherry Hill. The first store we hit was Safora. Majik was quickly on his game, talking to the first girl he saw, K. moved with purpose and I was unsure what to do. After conveining with K he gave me an idea to take a pen, write down on each wrist which cologne was better of the two I was trying. I first started off with someone who worked in the store, I would smell one wrist, tell her to smell, then smell the other and tell her to as well. I asked for her opinion, and she gave it to me. Great. Next I went to a woman who was trying out some new makeup. I was so nervous when I approached her, but thats just part of the game.
She was probably an HB8, older, probably 27-30. Here is how the dialogue went:
Me: Hello, im trying to buy a new cologne and wanted a females opinion on the matter.
(I smell my first wrist)
Me: Smell
HB8 puts her nose literally on my wrist, and then I tell her to smell the other and she does.
HB8: I like the second one, is that Aqua da Gio? I tell her very good, but now the colognes are tied in votes... "thanks alot" in a playful tone.
HB8: Hey (her friend HB7) come smell this cologne, she smells both and agrees with her friend..
( this would have been a perfect time for the best friends test, but this was my FIRST open ever using the game so I was unable to think of it.)
I thanked them and told them I must be going.
At the mall we picked out cologne, new vintage looking shirts, a blazer, a ring, a new watch, and a pair of aviators- there is my avatar.
Skip forward, we decide to travel to Rutgers, where Majik is living just on campus. We take three shots to new friends, the game, and to me opening some sets and then head out.
The first party is a "pink party" where you must wear pink to get in.
FUCK.... none of us knew this, so after HB6,5,8,7 tell us blah blah blah u need pink we take some of the pink decorations and put them around our necks, on our shirts, and Majik put it around his head.
We go in, three second rule Majik is already talking to some girls, K is hangin back with me giving me the play by play and then he goes in. He enters a 2 set and works them pretty good.
As for me I got opened by three girls, but nothing ever happened since I had no idea what to do after A1.
We leave and head to a bar. We walk in, Majik opens a three set and I hang back with K.
K tells me I need to just go, and I am nervous but finally just go over to a three set HB9 HB8 and a guy. I use an opinion opener, the girls seem to like it- they leaned in a few times to tell me what they thought. I thought I was losing the guy so I directly asked him and froze out the 2 girls, after this I had no idea where to go with the convo... so I said its nice meeting u guys I gotta be going back to my friends.
We leave that bar... go to another.
I see a 2 set HB8 and HB8, I try to open with the opinion opener:
Me: So can I get an opinion from you guys? I kinda think I worded it like a question (DLV) and one of them looked interested, the other did not, and the one who did not says
HB8: Sorry, were not interested.
Meh, first negative set, it happens I guess.
Then we go to another bar, its real dry, there are 2 sets. Majik trys to plow through this 2 set but keeps getting amoged by some other people who knew the girls and did not like him apparently. Instead of giving up Majik plows through it as long as he can, then eventually flags down the drink girl.
I dont know exactly what happened, but he had a 10-15 min convo with the drink girl (HB9) and number closed (my hero)
Anyways.. let me know what you guys think of my first day of learning any of the game, and my first night out sarging.
