This HB9. She's bisexual. She did warn in her profile that she can be a major bitch.
And I did have a really lame opener, was just mass sarging and opened with a line about her username "sexy-nerdy" something.

I have an idea of what I did wrong (and her) etc. but I'd love to hear your insight :D

Some excerpts and behind the scene stuff that went on:

Dangermouse: [Messed up opener about geeky username]
Her: *edits profile to add "Don't ask me about my damn username it's just.. blabla..."*

Later:

Dangermouse: But you look alright in glasses though.
Her: *edits profile to delete the picture with glasses and adding some stuff like "I'm not here to hook up"*

Later:

Dangermouse: Hmm, so you live by the water somewhere, you love crabs, and you're cancer. That's kinda cute, sorry
Her: *hissyfit.* "...that's not funny or cute at all, I'm a cancer who don't care what people think (non-sequitur)..." etc." *Edits profile*

Later:

Dangermouse: Hey, don't think so much into what I say.
Her: if i actually think so much about what you say. don't you think by now I would of blocked you . well i guess i should right since I THINK?
I HAVE A BRAIN I'M ALLOWED TO THINK DUH!

DEMONmouse: I have no idea what you just tried to say. But bitch, you weren't thinking into it when you edited your profile three times based on something I said?

I didn't read all of it, but the parts I did read it more looks like she is being sarcastic more than anything.

It seemed like you were seeking her approval the entire time. Not sure exactly what you were doing at some points. Becareful of how you come across in text too. No offense, your texting came off as really AFC. Way to many compliments, kept directing conversation to stuff she wasn't interesting in talking about (cuddling? wtf?), approval seeking. At one point when you were talking about Cambodia she responded back talking about amazing sights and artwork. Instead of asking her questions about that (something she clearly has interest in) you kept trying to be funny with the monk thing - something she clearly didn't give a shit about or find humor in. Just be more aware of the conversation. Also your not showing her much value. When a chick asks you how your weekend was you don't say "so-so and I don't have plans for one of the days in the year that is centered around relationships." Whats that telling her? Your siting on your ass, sick, and talking to people online.

Thanks for the feedback, and I agree, lol.
Don't know what I was trying to do either, but I felt like I was being the sarcastic one and she kept getting annoyed by it or something.

Anyway, she didn't block me but I'm tired of talking to her.

Reading back at it now I see some things I could've done way better but while talking to her I didn't know what the heck to do really, whether to build rapport and approval by being more reserved/antisocial, like she is, or how to demonstrate value.

Notice that when I said I'm home sick she posted the first or only smily or agreeable post in the whole convo...

Yeah, just take it as a learning experience. She seemed really bitchy anyways. Flat out mean at times.

Read the conversation yourself, when I read your conversation you are both talking to your selves, it seems like you are not listening or taking in what she is saying.
Example:
Quote:
Her: *edits profile to delete the picture with glasses and adding some stuff like "I'm not here to hook up"*
Dangermouse: Hmm, so you live by the water somewhere, you love crabs, and you're cancer. That's kinda cute, sorry
Does it really matter what sign she is? imo NO!, instead of picking the sign thread like your interested in her signs you should have gone with her shit test "I'm not here to hook up" and tease her about it

Again you are jumping in to her hoop, she seemed to be pissed imo. Changing the topic of the conversation can change the out come of how she feels and thinks

Good luck next time

I agree. talking in mystery's tongue, I dont think you developed that much attraction. it seems like like you just went straight into that comfort stage with her, so she'd more than likely see you as a friend. I would of started callin her troublemaker and thrown in some push-pulls in the first few messages. and if she says somethin retarded reply with "this is why we wouldnt work out"
