IN SHORT: If you're too lazy to read all that, here is the short version. POF is mostly just fatties and stuck up snotty women. POF sucks, looking for a good social network site to play around on.

Idk man, for some reason most of the girls on "Plenty of fatties" have their heads so far up their asses and think their royalty.

I've tried all kinds of openers/profiles and messages and I've only met one girl from there.. and to be fair, she was pretty easy lol, I doubt I was the first guy she wanted to meet from there.

It's not even about being unique on PoF.. I genuinely think girls just have a good time on that site shooting people down or most of them don't even read messages. I've had some intriguing titles sent out in the past where half of them would be "Unread Deleted" lol god damn.

I've seen a few people mention that POF sucks but I just started trying it again recently and POF girls are like Walmart customers.. for some reason they're picky as hell and they all have their heads shoved up so far where the sun doesn't shine that they think they all are "special".

No sweat though, it's how it is =) Some sites develop different communities and even on OkCupid, I'm noticing a lot of girls around here have the Red over their "Send Message" which means "I barely reply to anyone."

Anyone have any experience with social networking sites like Myyearbook? I hear that one's pretty easy/good to meet some laid back easy-going people.. and it's not like anyone's using myyearbook to keep in touch with friends/old classmates.

I've used myyearbook, there's a lot of bored single moms on there though. It's easy to get talking to someone and you can easily stand out with the ask me anything tool by asking questions that nobody else is asking.

However, there doesn't seem to many top chicks in my area, they all seem in the north west of england or london and nothing in the the mids.

The site does suffer from the same disease as pof, lots of women getting lots of attention inflating their ego and many just using it as an ego boost. You have to appreciate the competition there is on the internet and accept it as it is if you're gonna try and game online.

If you're getting frustrated I'd say set yourself a daily or weekly time limit for online gaming and stick to it. Use the time you save to go out or whatever.

That's the weird thing.. I can jump on Myyearbook or any other social networking site, call some random girl a disgusting hoe and most of them would probably come back with a clever or witty response.

Some of the "ego-inflated" which is on dead on, you nailed it.. girls on POF, if you say even "hey" it's like asking them to give their first born up.

Sure, that's exaggerated but the point stands.

Of course.. there's snotty girls on Myyearbook and A LOT of fake profiles.. I Mean a lot.. but they're all obvious.. they all use the same scene/emo girls pictures or some super models pictures. There's snotty stuck up women everywhere.

People feel a layer of protection though online, so they can say things that would probably get them shot in the real world because they know there's nothing they can do through a computer screen... and before someone's a smartass about that statement, I'm excluding the hackers.. just a general statement.

As for the nicest/most laid back girls i've ever met.

If you're not familiar with the landscape of Ohio, i'll tell ya =) It's very small villages and towns surrounded by miles and miles of corn.

We have 1 bar in town, and trust me.. you don't want to go there.. you can get STDs just by making eye contact with the building.

Until I move to a bigger location, this is pretty much all I got. The main cities of Ohio (Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland) lol what "cities" they are, are so far away from me it's stupid.

I agree try some game in real life, or on facebook or a different source if you must do the online thing

I don't care what you guys say, I've been getting plenty of love on POF even if the girls are a little larger

I won't dispute the fact that there are alot of bigger girls on PoF, and they're the ones who will probably be paying you the most attention or the ones most likely to respond to a message. BUT, with that being said there are alot of higher quality girls on PoF too, and I think that if you have a good profile and write an interesting message you can get responses. I've met several 7s 8s and even a 9 off of POF and I've ended up sleeping with at least half of them, including the 9. If you aren't getting the attention you want online, change something. Maybe it's your profile, or your headline, or your pictures, or the messages you send, or maybe it's all of it. If you aren't landing girls from PoF something is wrong but don't blame the girls, blame yourself.

POF is a weird place. The website looks like it was made in the 90's. I've gotten dates on almost every other site, but not on POF. It might be a place to get pratice but i dont see quality women there.

Lots of pics with you in interesting situations and social situations
Saying you are looking for friends(its just bs but do it)

#1 be non threatening at firs,t it is the internet
#2 say something slightly hit on ish at first then cool it off until later in the chatting
