Long story short, I randomly came up to this girl during the day when she was sitting by herself and asked her to coffee. She was taken aback and agreed.

Yesterday we went for coffee and ended up being there for 2 hours talking including her missing a meeting. We hung out for anther two hours in my room after that watching comedians on my computer and it turned out to be a really great time. She gave me literally every sign of attraction.


Today I decide to text her:

Me: katie kate i like you and im taking you out again. do i have your consent?

Her: patty pat, you mean like me as in we are friends?

me: i mean i hate playing mind games so im trying to be straightforward. i like you and wanna see where it could lead to. if you think otherwise, feel free to tell me (this is where i fucked up....dont know why i wrote this)

her: yea i understand. idk at this point i dont like leading ppl on and dont like it when they do it to me. another friend asked me out and im not trying to rush into anything with anyone. i dont want you mad at me for that but im willing to see what could happen

me: well thats pretty much where i am, im not trying to rush anything, i was seeing if you wanted to hang out again, not marry me lol

her: lol i know but idk if youre the type that would get mad if i went to the movies with someone thats pretty much what i was trying to get at haha, lmao im sorry i didnt mean to come off super serious

me: you can go anywhere with anyone, i wouldnt get mad at that, so when is the next time youre free and not saving children or putting out forest fires? (she volunteers)

her: umm i dont think anytime this week

me: alright

her: im sorry im busy fighting fires and saving kids so ill let you know asap when i know

me: lol dont worry superwoman, do what you gotta do , dont forget about me though

Yeah... when i wrote I like you and im taking you out again, I meant I like you as in like an alpha way not "I like you so much please come out with me", but that probably came out completely wrong. Anyway, what do you guys think...I need some desperate advice, I think I actually like this girl

I've seen this all before brother... I'll keep it short in general when texting. From personal experiences of no knowledge of "The Game" and now knowing about it are totally different and drastic changes in my text game. What I've learned is to small talk a bit off the start... make her interested in yourself by saying how busy you are and how your going out with the crew.. make yourself interesting but at the same time mysterious... make her want to ask you questions... in other words... DHV (display high value). Keep the texts shorter than hers... always. For some advice here I would have small talked her a bit (ask about her day etc). The first conversation after a hangout doesn't always make the very next 1 on 1... this is giving her a feel for you...shows the difference from the crazy guys to the "awesome" guys. Show her your awesome, don't act desperate and most importantly DO NOT ever give her the power of deciding when your going to see her again.. she should be asking you that.. because your in the brotherhood... your the ALPHA.

Whatever... Where you failed wasn't in your texts, although they didn't help. Where you failed was yesterday when you had the chance to kiss her and you didn't.

You see, attractive women get lots of attention. Guys are literally hitting on them all the time... She'll have orbiters galore... You had the chance to SWEEP her off her feet yesterday...

I agree with Tweeby... that was the first shit test. Some girls run a couple on you, she may only run one. But next time throw answers that are funny but at the same time dodging a direct answer...perfect example for you i got the other day in my text game.

Anyways, don’t worry about this because that’s how we all learned from our mistakes. The best advice I could give you is be careful with texting keep short as they said above. Man, you don’t want to seem too needy so don’t text her and act busy NEXT TIME you do something cool call her and keep it brief.
