Wing brings me into a two set with HB6 and HB7blondemom.
Set starts going stale.
Wing ejects abruptly. I delay 30 seconds then politely excuse myself.

HB7blondemom: Are you leaving?

Me: yes I should get back to my friends

HB7blondemom: aw :-/ That's a shame

Me: Pleasure, bye

Later I tell wing that I'm going to try to get HB7blondemom as a pivot. I tap HB7blondemom on shoulder. the 2 set looks over.

Me: hey. I have a GF. I'm not trying to date you. I think you're cool and I would like to invite you into my circle of friends.

HB7blondemom: ***THICK sarcasm continues non stop from this point on*** Oh really? Well, I feel so honoured that you would ask me to join your “Circle Of Friends”.
Don't you think HB6? Isn't this such a great opportunity?
HB6: oh yes

Me: Ok so just give me your number and we can get together

HB7blondemom: Hey I think I see your “Circle Of Friends” over there why don't you join them?

Me: Hey I came here honestly and I'm sensing you're being fake. I'm just trying to be nice and come over here and tell you I think you're cool.

HB7blondemom: We, are being, fake? Whatever gave you that idea? ***add pity *** Yeah I know it's hard isn't it? it's so hard. I understand.

She glares at me.

I try hard not to let their insults affect, but it's hard :O)

Me: It's not that hard.

The set now calls in reinforcements to harass me and I get peppered with questions.

Set: how long have you been dating your GF?

Me: 2 years

then to my surprise
reinforcements: wow he's cool. I like him. (and they leave)

I hand HB7blondemom my phone open at new contact

Me: I have to leave so put in your info. I go out with all sorts of people, electronic music, hip hop, i go out a lot.

HB7blondemom: Oh yes because I am definitely going to go out with you. I go out too sometimes.

Me: Yeah I guess you have to find a babysitter.

HB7blondemom: ***this is where the sarcasm starts to fade.****yes.

Me: well great, then I'll call you and you can bring your friends if you want they can meet my friends

HB7blondemom: call my phone so i can see it's you when you call

Me: ok

her phone rings and she shows me
Me: ok great ttyl

I make a hasty retreat to my friends.

HB7blondemom points across the room and says: that's my friend (Me) I'm going to see him soon!

HB6 from the set is approaching wing and saying: my friend gave your friend her number if you want to get together.

Groups break we go outside i'm chillen on sidewalk.

HB7blondemom comes up to me alone while i'm with friends and confidently gives me a kiss on the cheek and a hug with lots of EC and says “call me” then walks off.

This whole interaction left me puzzled as hell. Why do I have to qualify for a pivot/friend? Can pivots know they're not targets? I put money on my pivot flaking out especially since she needs a babysitter haha.

I'm still caling though, the night was quite enjoyable and after I passed their test (?) I even enjoyed that lol.
