Personally, although it's rather typical, I'd say the old david beckham look, but a bit scruffier, kinda like fight club tyler durden

I wouldn't go the David Beckham look... You're gonna disappear in a sea of the same hairstyles. There a literally tons of ways to go. Check out magazines or go down to a hair salon/barber and get some professional advice. It's their job after all.

For hairstyles it really depends on how your facial features are, some people look right with certain hairstyles others do not. If you were thinking of going with something like David Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo, as examples of decent hairstyles for people with short hair, first make sure think of how you would look with that hairstyle, but I would also suggest to either talk to someone at a salon, or even better have at least one female friend or a gay guy friend who are fashionably savvy, both of which can be invaluable when it comes to making sure you have the best visual appeal for going out into the playing field.

If you're short, you can spike your hair to give the illusion of being taller than you are. I'm 5'6" and spike my hair typically when I go out. A lot of women like it too, I've had women standing next to me at a bar just touch the tips of my hair out of curiosity.

I have a zero fade up to about 1.5" on top, I think this is the "shortness" you're referring to.

I personally preferred short hair style too. One of my friend have suggested me Great Clips Coupons for getting good ideas for hair style. I have tried and them they have suggested me really stylist hair style and my friends have also like this. You may also take benefit from them.

2 at the sides faded to a 5 on top. Messy spikey style. I just started putting a black stripe in and get compliments all the time. DON'T use gels use hair wax. It doesn't give you that "achey breaky" toooo stiff look.

Yes hair wax is definitely good! and gel only makes your hair hard and as soon as it dries some gel particle will come out and might also look like a hair flake .. You can apply on the hair and then style it or you can apply on the palm then fix your hair with the desired style..
