Just assume she's only trying to smooth things over with you and still isn't interested. Treating her like nothing special is a good tactic.

She probably is - I'd say most likely because she's wondering what she did that made you stop trying. Basically re-start the attraction. Almost like you're gaming a new girl. It's a little bit like she has to re-qualify herself, so if you can, when you're talking again, ask questions that you can respond with interest to... And through that you have to build comfort again. Attempt to show her your a much more stable guy than she probably thought.

Attractive alpha guy is not unresponsive to IOIs - in fact he responds positively to every one of them - just a LITTLE less enthusiastic than her, and is not fussed either way what happens or if she turns him down.

That just comes from practicing talking to random people. But through asking them what they do for work or study, what they're doing on the weekend, what they did for recent public holiday, where they're going today, etc you can ask the more interesting questions like - "what's the best [insert topic] you've ever done/had?" with her you may dare breach the topic of relationships and ask her if she prefers / likes being single, this will give her a way of informing you whether she is after a serious relationship or just wants things casual. Be careful, if she knows your preference and likes you, she will say what she thinks you want to hear, even if contradictory to her nature, which won't be good.

And another thread to branch into is "what made you decide to do [topic]?" I.e. Job, study, travel etc. Reasons people have for doing thongs often can branch into more of their desires and thing and you can find a common interest.

If she hates her job (sometimes you just got to earn money and can't find something you like - change topics to what would you love to do if you could do anything - this will get her mind into a positive state as she fantasizes about what would be awesome, and you can ask questions about "why" even if you don't find the topic itself interesting. If a girl can't really answer this question, I believe I've found someone who doesn't have enough drive in life to be compatable with me, but that is so rare.

These are things to keep in mind - but you must feel your way through (pua material calls this "calibration" because men like technical concepts) but it's letting the right side of your brain do what it does best - pattern recognition , but subconsiously, which means it's hard to describe, even when rouille you're right - basically all it amounts to is "doing what feels right".
