I decided that the first part of my game I'd like to drastically improve was my eye contact. I think that's the first exercise in Style's rules of the game too, although I've never read it. I picked up this book, The Power of Eye Contact by Michael Ellsberg. I had seen it in the bookstore once upon a time and took a pic and added it to my list via the amazon app on my phone. I ordered it two weeks ago and blew through it. I started implementing it right away.

My report to you is, ENHANCE YOUR EYE CONTACT SKILLS AND ENHANCE YOUR GAME 100 FOLD!! I've been seeing amazing results.

In the book Ellsberg mentions that most people go throughout life with a majority of their eye contact interactions being only 2 seconds or less. Most people will only have eye contact of 2-3 a few times in their life and thats with a spouse.

He writes in a book and I've tested this myself--good eye contact is better than any opener you could ever dream of. I number closed 3 girls in the last week almost effortlessly using only eye contact as an opener. I also went out with one of them already and had an amazing night.

Saturday night at 4am, after a night out at the clubs in Chelsea here, we ended up at the union square coffee shop. There was this cute girl with a dark complexion, a straight up 8. Me and my friends ended up sitting across the counter from her. My friends kept whispering about how hot she is, but none of them would have the balls to talk to her. I bet them food that I would get her number, and of course the mandatory "yeah, right" was there response. She was sitting there all alone, glued to her fuckin BBM (Oh did I ever mention I hate BBM more than anything in the world?), DYING FOR SOMEONE TO TALK TO HER. The screaming silence... Anyway, at some point she looks up, and I knew this was my chance, so I met her eyes, she broke first, and I stayed firm and caught her come back again, so she started giggling and I smiled. We exchanged some comments or whatever over a few minutes. She asked me why I was wearing a Boston hat in NYC, to which I replied, because it attracts attention, it got you to comment, didnt it? Then I noticed she had a nice watch, and that was my door into a steady conversation, so I asked her about it and made believe it was too loud for me to hear her response and walked around to where we she was. People love talking about themselves and their stuff, its ridiculous.
A half hour conversation ensued. She's from Miami (HOT), she studied dancing and acting in Chicago (REALLY HOT) and she just moved to New York and doesn't know anyone (SOO HOT, this girl is as good as dead! lol). After the conversation I say nice talking to you and walk away without taking her number. Not 2 minutes later, she pays her bill and as she is walking out, comes over to me and gives me her receipt with her number and tells me to call her that it would be cool to have me show her around New York.

I realize I still need to work on certain in-conversations skills, but hey its a start, right?

This is only one story. I got 3 numbers like this last week and went out with the girl I liked most out of them.

I'm just sayin. Get out there. Make eye contact. Rule the world.

R

You've certainly got the most basic of conversation skills right.

LISTENING!

It's amazing what kind of bond you can make with a female just by listening closely and showing her you're devoting your entire attention to her!

I like this post and you raise a very good point about eye contact, there is a beautiful scene in the movie 9 and a half weeks, when Mickey Rourke makes eye contact with Kim Basinger. You should watch how he locks in with eye contact and follows her eyes:

Here is the scene I found it on youtube!!:

I like the way ryan phillipe, rocks in and out of her personal space when he is talking to her while maintaining eye contact. When he leads the girl away, he locks in eye contact as they walk away with each other, kind of like mickey rouke when kim bassinger walks away.
