and trading it in for a field cap. I ship out in 2 weeks for MCRD Parris Island,SC. i have a girl in my back pocket i'll date a little before shipping. anyone that has advice for me in boot camp would be extremely welcomed.

I'll tell you what got me thru boot.

Eyes and years open and mouth shut. You may thing you were "the shit" - you ain't and wont be for some time.

Do what you are told, when you are told and how you are told. EXACTLY.

Doesn't matter if EVERY day for 2 weeks the first thing you did was strip your rack - the one day you start in on it without being told - that is the day you are to do something else.

EVERYONE gets yelled at or smoked on the quarterdeck - it isn't personal and it WILL make you a better person.

Attention to detail is EVERYTHING!

yeah i was in Army JROTC, its no Marine Boot Camp but I have a basic idea of D&C and how to accept not being the alpha male/center of attention

Oh man the military is great. As far as gaming women, you really cant during boot camp but afterwards you can. I'm in the military right now, not only do you have it easier since your the military but you are a step above everyone once you get to your first duty station since you know "The Game."
