So I have been trying to do the Craigslist adds and well its not working. I read some guys Craigslist guide and didn't work I tried adam lyons approach and still no luck. There are a million spammers trying to get you to sign up to sites. I got one serious person who responded, well it was actually a couple(I'm not into that). I have tried posting in both casual encounters and the dating section.


I realize going to a bar would be easier and better. I stupidly made a bet with a friend and I don't enjoy losing bets I need help. I live in chicago so the problem can't be nobody there, if anything there are to many

Craigs List is good for some things, but not for meeting people.

LOL I posted a personal in the regular Craigslist forum for Winston-Salem, not the adult encounters forum, said I wanted brains and intellect and there was nothing sexual about my personal at all. I got 6 scams right off the bat trying to give me a blowjob, some of 'em laughably and grotesquely overweight, all decked out in ho's uniforms! Got 1 gal who wanted me to go through a criminal background check to meet her. I declined that shit test and told her I wasn't attracted to women who were too timid to meet a man in public in person. Then all of a sudden she says her profile is on some bondage site... maybe it was, but isn't that a little convenient just after I said I liked bolder women? Maybe she was scamming for the criminal background check company, maybe she was for real. I don't care, her photo didn't say I was missing much although she had a nice set of jugs. She didn't answer the intellectual content of my original personal either, there was nothing in her personality to interest me.

I forgot about that personal for a month. Then suddenly 2 gals contact me about my really old personal! Unfortunately they weren't good looking. I did go out with one of 'em, just on the hoot that someone had actually connected with me that way. We went and saw a film that I had intended to see anyways. No loss, a little conversational practice.

I've never tried an adult encounters personal with any serious intent. I've occasionally gotten as far as registering a profile, but a lot of 'em are then like "pay up," and I know from experience it's just a big scam. They'll pepper you with horny interest from mind-blowing numbers of women, it definitely seems too good to be true. It seems if you actually pay money to something like MatchXXX then boom, no more action. It actually says in their Terms Of Service that they'll lie to you with fake avatars and interest generators, but who reads the TOS?

POF has an erotic encounters section, but they also make it pretty clear that if you ever use it, you're going to be blacklisted from many of the women on the regular personals. Hmm I guess the answer to that is a different identity, but if you use your actual photos then someone could put 2+2 together and bust you. The problem is that in Winston-Salem the number of people on the site is relatively small, it's not like a major metro area where nobody will get through all the ads. At this point I'm thinking POF is mostly a bunch of duds anyways though, so maybe it's worth the risk of trying out the dark side? I wonder what an effective photo shoot is for that. Like auditioning for a porno, LOL!

Didn't Craigslst in the US close down its adult section, after quite a lot of pressure from numerous US politicians, following the Craiglist killer, who's had a TV movie made about him I believe.

Dude Craigslist is fucking awful for meeting real people.

That website is spammed to holy hell with nothing but bots and people trying to make money by signing you up to a website.

I put out some CL ads not too long ago.. I got.. one serious person who hasn't replied back and about 20+ spam emails.. most of them go like this.

"hi hun I want you to prove your real or some blah blah blah so sign up to *affiliate link*"

Or they'll send you an actual message like "Hey how are you? Im looking for a good time."

Then once you reply, they'll reply to that reply with a link to go to.

It's so sad how hard these people are working to try to make a few bucks. That's all most of these affiliate companies pay w/o the use of a credit card.

Ive met a couple girls off craigslist but like others have said... you gotta filter out 20 spam emails for every 1 real email... and then there is like a 5% chance that the real email will actually be someone decent looking enough.

I always post to the dating section though and never the casual sex. Also dont be afraid to reply to post women put up just make sure they sound like its from a real person and also check out the ones without pics... you will still get a lot of spam and ugly girls but every now and then you will find a diamond in the rough lol

Craigslist is horrible for meeting people try facebook, POf....both are free too
