so im at college and was walking down the street to a party. me and my friend were unsure of the exact location so we asked these four girls on the porch for directions. after getting directions they invited us in and we drank some beers. i began talking to this one girl asking basic questions (how old are you, where you live, blah blah blah) and we were talking for a little bit. out of nowhere she says to me "you look like a straight shooter." i was kinda puzzled by her comment and said "i am a straight shooter. i know what a straight shooter is but why would say this after 5 min of talking. i am wondering if this could mean anything and if anyone has an explanation for it.

Kind of a nothing-ism like when you cold read a girl. Could of meant that you're not gay, that you're direct, or that you don't drink or do drugs. It's okay to ask people what they mean, doesn't make you look dumb. If a girl talks about your sexuality, it's usually a good opening to make out I've learned.

i should have asked her what she meant your right. i just said to her "i am a straight shooter" trying to sound confident and agreeing to her comment. been having trouble holding a conversation after the approach though. im always worried the girl thinks im creepy if i keep talking to her.

Don't...what is creepy about talking to a member of the opposite sex? This is where I was going wrong for many years. But then I just stopped worrying about what my actions may seem like, because the only thing I had to compare was the image on my mind of what the other side of conversation is thinking or assuming.
When you think of it, isn't it nice when someone comes asking you how you're doing? Alltough some girls may get bombarted with questions every day, major part do not. Goes to the stage where simply a "Hi!" with smile can make someones day.

What makes a person creepy is when they're hiding something or themselves. If you try being direct, that will probably solve this feeling for you.
