I was shocked, no one ever told me this before so what do i tell her? It wasnt a joke either she was full serious.

This came up a few days ago with a girl ive known at uni for a couple of weeks (nothing happened between us yet). She said I was gay cuz I dressed well and because we were talking about how I have different clothes (shoes and jackets) for clubing, going out during the day and various other situation (unlike other guys who wear the same hoodie for like a week for whatever they are doing). Also she said I came across as gay cuz I have a piercing in my left ear.

In response i laughed and told her she was a guy cuz only my male friends made comparisons like that.

Man, I was in your situation a few weeks ago! Haha my friends instigated it though making jokes about me being gay and it turned out she actually believed it. It was in my favor though even though I told her I really wasn't. She still wasn't 100% sure! Which is what I believe helped a lot. I could act however the f*ck I wanted around her, extremely flirty was my choice. Let's just say it ended well.

I'm sure you're in the same boat right now. Use it to your advantage!

So in answer to your question, either tell her you really aren't gay and leave it at that, or tell her that she's just gonna have to find out ;)

Neg: Hah don't worry, you're masculine enough for me.

On the other hand you can jokingly challenge her to 'turn you', but you need to do it in a way that it's obvious you're joking. "You're just after a challenge aren't you?"

Aw I had the same ages ago and it pissed me off. Love the CF response.

Remember there is a pick up line 'If I wasn't gay I would so be into you' so def use it to your advantage. Don't see a wall of her opinions-they change, see opportunities to try out new material with no pressure on you and surprise her when you make her climax later on that night.

If I'm honest I disagree with every reply on this thread. You're all overanalyzing it and taking it way too seriously, she's just teasing you for dressing well, it's a normal thing, don't try to come up with clever negs, disqualifiers, lines etc. or she's just going to think you're a weirdo.

No this isn't a shit test. It's just playful teasing. No offence guys but try to be a little bit more normal, you don't have to come up with clever responses to everything a girl says, not every little tease she makes is a shit test, it's just her having a little fun. It's weird to overanalyse things like this. A real shit test would be like a girl saying "buy me a drink" or talking about how attractive another guy is to you in an attempt to make you jealous, or trying to make you do something through threatening to leave you or something like that.

if you have known her for a couple of weeks and she thinks that you look "gay" it sounds like you didn't build any attraction. In her mind she had disqualified you... so now all you need to do is qualify yourself.

Dressing well doesn't mean a man is gay at all, just look at James Bond who sports appropriate clothes for every situation. So yeah, unless this girl is stupid enough to actually believe that having many outfits makes a man gay, she was merely joking and teasing you. I don't think there's anything to worry about.
