I have one problem, some girls say I look GAY. Now what the fuck, I can't even see myself looking gay in that picture. I am 18 and can't really grow any facial hair yet, all I get are some pricks (lol) which I just run over with my razor. I was thinking of getting sideburns down to my ear lobes or a bit shorter to look more masculine but I really don't know.

This is my style/role model: Image

I try to stay away from all sorts colorful clothing, jewelery, scarves, etc. My style is more v-necks, gray/black jeans (no tears) with black/brown belt, dress shoes, dark leather jacket. I just like to keep it masculine and tough. Shirts are usually tight. I also wear button up shirts but they must be checkered and made of plain colors like brown, black, or white. As for sweaters well...only the sweaters that have a zipper near the neck. Sweaters in general are more on the classy side and any pretty boy that dresses classy tends to look gay. Main idea is to dress and look tough.

to me, what you are trying to be like, is what I am.

I'm a freshman in college, 18.
my wardrobe consists of two pair of american eagle jeans. theyre like 80 bucks each, but they don't wear easily, are nice, and I wear them all the time.
-1 dark
-1 light, with rips
-50 white vnecks
-tons of boxers and socks
-some misc. colorful clothes

I get a lot of chicks, and I'm currently in a relationship, and this style definately works for me. Wear the white v-necks, make sure its a size thats not loose on you at all. I wear a small. Next, I wear one of those jeans. not baggy, but not tight on my legs.
right now, I have a fohawk. I'm black haired like you, if thats your pic. another thing I wear is a diamond stud earring on my left ear. I used to wear a golden necklace too. small silky one. nothing fancy. and my typical shoes I wear are puma lifts with a rainbow colored shoelaces. gets me complements from chicks left and right. One guy tried to make fun of me once next to his girlfriend, saying it was gay (which come to think of it, does kinda seem gay normally) but his girl started laughing her ass off cause she knows I am the farthest thing from gay.. and Ive gotten with her at the begenning of the year lol

but yeah an earring on the left is good, and if you can grow any facial hair, a one day fuzz is sexy to the ladies. good luck, and no need to peacock really what your trying to use is fine

Don't post pictures of you with your shirt up. Looks like craving attention.

Go out and get yourself some affliction/ extreme coture shirts if thats the look your going for. Dont look tough though... act tough. Just be a man.

Why can't that just be enough? lol If a girl tells you that you look gay, tell her that her pants make her look like a lesbian nazi hooker or something.

And to add to the last post. I'd rather never see you without your shirt down again...lol! Anyway, game is in how you carry yourself, first and foremost.

Your photo is edited. How about posting a normal picture of yourself, with your top down and in colour, so we can actually help you out?

Anyway, from what you said, this may be the problem:

Shirts are usually tight.
Your shirt should be fitted, not tight. Everything else you say you're wearing sounds just fine to me.

there is nothing wrong with the classic all American look maybe you problem is not in your style but in your mannerisms or they way with you interact with people because gay doesn't have a set look it fluctuates as does anybody's style i would suggest to stay away from the MMA look unless you actually fight MMA otherwise you can come off as a "douche". unless of course you are into the girls who go after MMA guys then by all means Tapout that son of a bitch

you could try looking a little less "pretty" by getting rid of the hairstyle, a little more than army style short hair COULD work. imagine it and decide for yourself if it would.

Shit I would trade hairstyles...I have to keep short hair because mine gets frizzy if it grows too much. I have to cut it every week.

you sound almost like me as well.

i'm 20, have black hair, usually sport a fohawk, and have an earring on the left too.

now i also recognize the power of fitted (not tight, as Roz mentioned), plain white tees, but i just have one problem: my nipples bulge out

any solutions? again i don't wear "tight", just fitted enough to complement my form (i work out). but fuck i cant wear it out cuz my nips be out there

@crimsonred do you have any distinguishing features on said shirts? i usuraly wear dark jeans and a white tshirt. i have other shirts too but i try and wear my white ones as much as possible, but i kinda feel self conscious, as if people look at me and think, 'why does he only wear that one shirt?' anyways im going for the same style as you guys apparently. dose it work?

redman,
Wear shirts with designs on them, or wear an undershirt w/ a button-up, OR slice off your nipples... i recommend the first two.

To be honest, you do look gay. But by all means either use that as an easier way to talk to women, considering they will be a lot more friendly guard down to you, and when they comment that you look gay or they thought it, just use it as an opportunity to neg them about it. Either that or go with what Andy Nice said and get some MMA attire, Nike, Ed Hardy ect.

I get called gay as well I think its just because we do dress more fashionable than the average guy but I dont see how that could be a negative!
