I've got an idea that I want to bounce off you guys. I'm thinking about writing a cel phone app to assist with pickup. Here's the scoop of how it would work:

- Cel phone app allows you to take a picture of the girl you are opening.
- It then does a "sexual disposition psychological assessment based on photographic analysis" and displays her "sexual psychological profile".
- It then gives you the option to forward that "sexual psychological profile" to her cel phone or email.
- The photo, her contact info, and the profile is stored on your phone for future reference.

There is no real "photographic analysis" per se, the app will just randomly pick from a library of responses, all of which are worded to present her with a challenge. The responses will fall into the category of "She is physically cute, but needs some sexual training to perform well", "She has lots of potential to be a hot lover, but must first put some work into removing all of her unnecessary sexual hangups", "She may look hot, but she doesn't know how to enjoy sex", etc. The goal here is to word the responses in a way that gives her something to prove to you. And of course, offering to forward the profile analysis to her gives you an easy hook for collecting her phone number or email address, plus storing the pic, contact info, and "profile" together gives you a way to re-open the conversation at a later time.

I'd like your comments on what I've posted above. The purpose is to give you a tool for opening, creating some sexual tension in the conversation, and collecting her photo and contact info. What do you think? What would you change? I plan to put this together for Android-based cel phones and make it available in the Android online apps stores for a few bucks. If that goes well, I may create a version for iPhones, and possibly other cel phone platforms in the future. Also, if this goes well, I might create other similar apps in the future.

I see where you want to go with this but i see a couple of problems.

- If you wanted to send her her profile analysis she would need to have the application installed on her phone too (which im 100% she wouldn't) Unless you send it to her as a screenshot .

- Seeing as it's not that big of a market i don't think you should charge for the app, maybe only if it goes really big. Also because to be honest it would only take about 1-3 days to code.

- IMO using this as an opener would prob creep her out. I mean taking a pic of a girl you don't know then showing her what your phone "thinks of her" is kinda stalkerish??? but we don't know until it's field tested.

Anyways it could work, like as a routine after the opener. You take out your cell and tell her something like "i wanna see what my phone thinks of you" or some shit like that, i can't think of a way to bring it up. Also, if i had time to help you i would but i currently have other projects im doing. (unless of course you already know what your doing. Then this app should be no problem)

Not a problem, just forward the "analysis" as a txt message, that way she has your cel number and a way to respond back the next day if she really has something to prove.
I'd prob make it available for free beta-testing (with some of you guys as beta-testers ), so we'll see if it's worth a few bucks or not. I'm not a java programmer by trade (data architect, but I've dabbled in several different programming languages...Android apps are pretty easy to put together from what I've seen...I've got plenty of java programmers that I've worked with who can help if/when needed though).
Well, you can introduce yourself first. You and I both know that any opener works...it's not the opener itself, but how that opener is delivered that makes it work or not work.

"You're cute, but I'd better run a psychological profile on your before I let you pick me up...I have to make sure you're not some crazy chick who's going to stalk me for the next 6 months." Said with a mischievious smile and a wink, of course.

I find it interesting. If you actually use it the right way you can make a joke outta it.

I see it as just being something that can be used for fun for the most part after you build rapport.

I would probably get it just bc it would be a fun tool piece to use.

The app's response to the "photographic analysis" should be a few sentences that lead her to qualify herself. Essentially, "the photo analyzer says you're cute, but not very good in bed" or "You're a hottie, but that's all you've got going for you", or something similar. She can't be mad at you, it's the apps answer, not yours! I have often told some girl "Oh, you're this cute and don't have a boyfriend? You must be a pain!" or "Just because you have a great body doesn't necessarily mean you know how to use it", etc. What's their automatic thought? "Oh yeah? I'll show you!" Said right , it almost always gets a positive response. The library of responses from the "photo analysis" should be similar challenging statements that lead her to qualify herself. IMHO.

I guess I wasn't completely clear with my response lol its kinda what I was leaning towards where it would be like that for her to want to prove it wrong. I was just saying the context you could use it in is what I meant, but all in all I got what you were saying and think its a pretty good idea.

I would really like something like this.

I get so many numbers (yeah yeah boo hoo whatever) that often I'll be texting and setting up dates and not really remember what the girl looks like that well anymore, so having her photo saved in a fun way, and sending her that message, would not only be useful but cement how different and unique I am in her mind.

I would say just tone down the sex stuff so it's more like "relationship compatibility" sensor and every profile is just cold reads like "Profile: the homemaker - Is nurturing and caring, but can sometimes be clingy when likes a guy, be warned..." or "The professional - has goals and aspirations, and has high self esteem, can be a challenge" or "The party girl - Lots of fun, very outgoing, get ready for spontaneous dates..." and shit like that.

Then it could have your profile with a photo you choose.

The easiest thing would be to use the app before n-closing, and then show her what it's said about her, and then be able to send the screenshot as an MMS which includes your name. There could even be a "likelihood of fantastic romance" meter that reads any random number between 51 and 98%.

I would download this.

Good ideas. I could easily create two apps that work in a similar way, but one with a more sexual focus and one with more of a relationship focus.
