Okay, so I've known this girl very distantly for a little while now, she's in our friend group but I don't see her very often and never really talked to her much. We were all out on New Years Eve however and I had brought my camera (I'm a pro photographer - I can't help it sometimes!) - anyways we were outside having a smoke, I was taking photos and we started talking. She designs all kinds of clothing - she pointed out that she liked my skinny tie and told me that she was working on designing some and whether or not I'd be willing to "rock one" of her designs. I told her I'd be glad to rock one and then went back inside - at the time I wasn't really thinking about PUA even though I have been working on my social proof (working the room, making friends with everybody, etc.) and I saw her the night before at house gathering and I had teased her a little...she asked me if she had "wine tooth" and I looked her up and down and told her that she did (she didn't) and she teased back a little "___ we hardly know each other, we're not at that level yet." she said, I just replied "Oh, we're not?" and walked off - all very friendly.

Anyways today I figured, why the hell not try to use PUA on this - we're friends on Facebook so I sent this:


_____, at some point on New Years I may have agreed to rock one of your skinny tie creations. I will qualify this remark by stating that I will do so pending design approval from my stylist, so send pix when you can and we may be able to fit in one of your designs for Spring of '12.

she wrote back pretty much immediately:

Those shots you took are amazing. What an rediculously fun night. Haha, I very well remember this conversation however I do not remember your stylist's need for approval. I am pretty sure you signed in viking blood that you would rock that sh*t when it comes out
