so I used this opener on Okcupid and usually added in something about their profile or their picture if it was unique (since it shows you actually read their profile) . I did this with a handful of hot chicks in my area (not many girls to choose from since it's rural). Only 1 has responded so far.

Me:

Hey goofball! I can already tell we wouldn't get along, we're too similar, we both like to rock the fuck out in life and the earth would probably explode if we hung out because of too much superpower in one place! You look like a big dork that loves to laugh you get 5 points for that, get 15 and you get a prize hit me back.

PS: History majors rock! along with sunflowers (seriously) {since she was holding a sunflower in her profile pic}

and I got this response from one the next day

lol your message was to awesome not to respond to. My name is (her nick name), but i go by whatever people yell in my direction. I just moved to (my town) so most of the time I'm sitting around at my place or looking for a job. I'm not sure what to say so anything you want to know just ask.



However I'm drawing a blank on how to respond. I thought about being myself and asking a question or two (what kind of job, why did she move to my town ect.) but I'm afraid that will loose her interest.

How should I respond to a positive response?


I think maybe I should use a different opener if I only get a 1/5 response rate?

1/5 is pretty good i would say. not that im a pro at it cuz i havent sarged online much but your opener is pretty sick imo.
she responded with a lot of info about her so that's an ioi. if she wasnt interested she wouldnt bother.

next message should be a question or two cuz she said ask whatever.. but make the questions funny.. not boring "why did you move", more like "so what kind of trouble you caused that you were forced to move to my beautiful town? :p"

and if she responds with a good respond, like long and informative, tell her to give you her number and offer a coffee day only if she promises to look cute

what do ppl normally yell in her direction!? suggest something amusing based on her profile info.

I had a similar situation Chaz with this HB 9.5. I went for the what made you move here line but haven't had a response. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try that. Just don't be surprised if she doesn't respond. Slimsta has the right idea though, make it fun and witty.
