Hi, this is my first post! And I come to you with a plea for help!

So this Saturday just gone I went out for a friends birthday and out with her was a girl I've met once or twice previously who is pretty hot (7.5-8).

I won't go into too much detail, but she gave me plenty of IOI's over the night and suggested we should meet up at another point soon, at the end I said to her "Hey, I'm gonna go get a taxi now, I've got stuff to do tomorrow" She says "Oh really? Ok well I'll get a taxi with you, I'll just go and say bye to my friends over there" (She lives across the other side of town, by get a taxi with me she means get a taxi at the same time as me, although I still took this as an ioi as a lot of her friends were still there)

After waiting for about a minute I knew she was going to be longer (shit test?), so I walked through the bar to the door where I got stopped by a friend who wanted to talk to me before I left. Literally a few seconds later she taps me on the shoulder and says "Hey! You were trying to make me think you'd left without me!" to which I replied "Come on I'm a busy man, I can't wait around all day for you to finish all your little girly chats!" (In a C&F way) and walked ahead out of the bar.

Right outside the entrance was a ton of black cabs, as she was getting in to one she suggested again that we should meet up again soon and I said I'd message her on FB (she added me after we first met). So the next day in the evening I messaged her asking her what she was up to this week so we can have this "catch up" she was on about. Unfortunately, that's about as far as it's got. I've had no reply yet, but someone suggested she doesn't always read messages in her inbox. I'm not sure if I should follow it up just in case, or leave it for not wanting to come across as desperate.

A little guidance would be really appreciated!

If you've sent her a mail then leave it at that.

Here's a tip. Before asking a girl out through text make sure to send some other sort of opener and wait for her to respond. Once you get a response then you ask her out. That way you can tell if she's interested before asking her out.

So earlier on, took me completely by surprise, she replied. Can you believe that shit?!

She said that she hardly checks her PM's on facebook and that we should definitely meet up some time, and also asked when I was next on a night out.

I'm thinking I should probably tease her for her late reply and then try to get her number for a quicker response. That way I can ring her up and be like "Hi, if I ask you a question is it gonna take you another week to answer? Cos if so I'm just gonna hang up now!"

And then... etc, I don't wanna think about it too much.

Yeah you should definately get her number and switch to using phone game.

I used this line recently with a girl who took ages to reply "Hey hows my favourite girl who never replies ". Your situation is different because she at least said she doesn't check facebook often, but you could still use this as long as it comes across as a joke.
