So there's this girl who goes to a prestigious school. She is a sophomore and I am a junior. I met her at a party a month ago and we went on a dinner date 2 weeks later for an hour. Anyway whenever I text her, it would take her hours or even up to 2 days to reply.

She tells me she's a very busy person. The one time we went on a date, it was one hour long. We had dinner and grabbed a soft drink and she had to "do work." She is like hb9. I asked my friend who goes to her school and he's like oh I know her, a lot of guys are after her blah blah.

I was wondering if I should continue to pursue this girl or should I just give up?

Anyway, notice the time of all her replies. She owns a blackberry and she definitely (I think) postpone her replies after she first read them. I know a lot of guys are after her but she still reply to my texts. So I THINK she is SLIGHTLY interested. I have no idea though. What should I do next to get this girl, or should I just give up?

Maybe I will make some bs and be like do you believe love at first sight or something lol, idk if it would work.

I think she is interested a bit and I think you should take it forward. Just be careful of one-itis.

My advice:

Don't show too much interest by texting too often
Text her to set up a date.

Next time go and do something FUN instead of just dinner. Dinner is not cool.

What I like to do is going to trendy galleries, expensive cocktails (some girls like this), ice-skating or just other stuff that might be slightly out of their comfort zone (but not too much).
