Hey, I'd like to start off saying I have basically 0 experience. I used to be horribly fat, not anymore, and have crippling social anxiety, which I've moved to fix. The last class is tomorrow - still have the final though - and there's a gorgeous girl who I've wanted to talk to but been too much of a pussy. I figure it's the last day, might as well go for it.

What should I say without seeming too creepy? My school is massive, classes are regularly 500+ people. Also, we usually sit near each other but not next too, is there an appropriate way to actually "go after" (for lack of a better term lol) her if she's in front of me and/or leaves before I do? Finally, she's sometimes sits with a friend (a girl), do I need to specifically work around this, or just conversation as normal?

I am fine with keeping on conversations, that's no problem, it's just the approaching and opening that's still near impossible for me. Also, it'll probably be helpful to note, I'm not necessarily trying to pick her up. As I said, massive class, so someone to study with would be nice. Plus, I'm sure she has hot friends she can introduce me too

Pickup in class is not always the easiest feat

Although I had great success at the start of the semester when classes just started and everyone was still settling in, but as the semester progressed it got more difficult

Proximity is key, if your not sitting directly beside you have no chance. You can't keep conversation going. So sitting next to her is a must.

After that, no canned openers. This situation is best played with either a situational opener (like an observation about someone in the class) or an opinion opener. Keep conversation light and don't wait until the end of class if your going to number close. It becomes too forced.

The only other way I've pulled it off is talking casually on the way out. People tend to get jammed up at the door and you can talk while the pile up sorts itself out.

This one is risky, if you stared at her all class then slide across the lecture hall to talk, you look like a creep. This is why I'm hesitant with talking on the way out. You almost have to run into her by chance and be really casual with your opener, otherwise you just come across as a creep

just make sure you don't get blown out in front of your class. im sure thats not fun.
