I'm not sure if there's a difference between a girl's or guy's watch other than the size. At least with this one, I wouldn't be able to tell if it's a guy or girl's. I have super tiny wrists so it's really difficult to find any nice men's watches at a decent price, I found this one but the male version of it was too big for my wrist, so I opted for the woman's. My wrist is about 6.1~6.2 inches and the watch size is about 36mm, I'm not too familiar with watches, but I read somewhere that this is around the size I'm looking at.

Anyways, I wanted to see what you guys think. Should the fact that it is a woman's size deter me? what would you think about the watch overall if you saw someone else wearing it? I'll post the exact specs of the watch below.

Thanks.

i think it looks foolish what is your budget you can get some really interesting timepieces for under $300 and yes i think it way be a womans watch since that is the band type. were are you wearing to because it would not suit a more formal environment were a leather bad watch is what you need try. also if you can always and i mean ALWAYS try to go for a Swiss watch they will be the best built if you tell me how much you are willing to spend i am more than willing to give you ideas also a bit of info on the venue you would normally be wearing this timepiece to is crucial

Get a men's watch, Girl's watches are for females. Get a watch with a thicker band, and for some reason it looks pretty cheap to me.

This made me laugh... I have no idea why

I clicked the link before reading your post, and I thought you were going to ask if you should buy this watch as a gift for your girlfriend.

Most women will be able to tell it's a "female watch". Men's watches are thicker and bigger, not as delicate. If you're having trouble with size, buy a watch intended for men and get it adjusted.

Its true, Youtube Eddie Izzard.
My last GF loved this guy because of his humor and confidence.
She would rationalize about how his looks only made him more "distinguished."
What ever that means...

Drop down a few hundred bucks on a nice designer watch... and women will immediately make a few assumptions:
-you mean business
-your probably not living with your parents
-you have some notion of fashion sense
-your not cheap

All very important things in my opinion.

if your spending the money might as well get something that matters.
the first person who knows anything about watches will know you wasted your money on a designer watch. i don't care how cool guess or any of those fashion labels are it doesn't make their watches cool. you may as well have picked it up at wal-mart, get a real watch from an established watch company that has something to there name. you'll get way more respect than some gaudy thing with fake diamonds. if all else fails get a fake at least you tried right, and most people wont be able to tell the difference anyway.

wow took a while for everyone to start replying.

Hmm, since the christmas season is coming up and spending a lot of money on presents and stuff. I'd say the most I want to spend on a watch is around 100-150. I don't want a designer brand name watch. More like a watch that is interesting and a conversation starter at a decent price.
