I think it is a pretty cheap gimmick, but from personal experience I know it works. I used to have long hair and a pierced septum. Now I'm buzzed, jacked, tanned but still have this back hoop through my nose. It gets a lot of comments although, to be honest, they do tend to annoy me.

Last night a girl said if she could look up at the piercing she's show me her nipple ring. I said 'you first', she did, I didn't.

To peacock with shoes you need to invest in them and i mean seriously invest i just got a pair of Monk strap Hugo Boss shoes (keep in mind i am a rAFC) and when i went out i had HB opening on me walking up and saying i love your shoes of course i followed up with MM " no you don't your attracted to me" and took it from there a killer pair of black dress shoes works better than you would think (if asked were i got them i reply Rome since i spent 1 day there and have some pictures from Italy)

rule #1 shoes make the man

I think that the best peacocking is the one that can match with your own personality.
For example my ex used to like sea sports and always had a real shark tooth around his neck. Or he was making his own bracelets from leather.

If your from Boston... No fury hats, boas, pinky rings ect... Maybe it works out in Cali for a select group of girls but not over here.
A good pair of designer jeans, High end shirt... English laundry, seven diamonds ect...
If your going to have any designs or graphics on a long sleeve shirt make sure it is embroidered, the painted on designs look a bit tacky.
I recommend saving up for a nice watch... that is what separates the men from the boys.
Get familiar with Nordstroms...

I have 3-4 necklaces, all silver (real) and simple and intricate at the same time.
They look really good with V-necks.

Also I ALWAYS wear a silver chain bracelet on my left hand, some say its gay. But there's a good story attached and I share it with girls sometimes :)

I tend to go for the more simple thing (shades,hat,shawl,shoes,tie) things they can touch/ wear..

Nevermind... go to Amazon, Clothing & Accessories, search cowboy hats for men.

You'll see some Peter Grimm hats, Black is the coolest IMO, and it'll go along with what I wear... Awesome!
