What to do if I can't see her again for at least 2 weeks?

So I took a HB9 out and after our first date she suggested that we go out again but she won't be available for at least the next 2 weeks due to work/school. How much should I be contacting her in between this 2 week period? Is texting everyday too much?

I think every day is definitely too much. I´d rather do it once or twice a week.

Yeah if you wanna kill attraction really quick, then text her every day. Way too much way too soon.

If I were you I'd avoid texting at first. I know I find it easy to forget to answer an (essentially) non important text message, especially if I'm busy. I dated a med student for a while and I've been I'm the same situation. Texts are low compliance.

I would call her after few days, sometime in the early evening say 7-9 pm when she's probably studying and bored and could use a distraction. Have a fun, lighthearted florty conversation for a while, maybe hint at making plans once she's done with the work, but dont try to actively set up anything yet unless she suggests a day you're actually free.

In short, I'd call her once the first week to shoot the shit, and maybe during the second week call/text to try and set something concrete up.

ok makes sense. but what if we had texted each other at least every other day for a month before finally meeting? if I stop and just start texting her less will it change the vibe for the better or worse?

When there's a 1 or 2 week absense so early, you need to keep the spark alive by keeping in touch. A funny text here and there, if it comes to mind - if you get a desire "hm I should text her" let your mind think of something relevant and funny, eg. something you talked about. If not, don't bother forcing it. But make sure you call her at LEAST once a week. In fact when you're talking to her, you should somehow get some idea of when to call her. If you simply talk about what she'll be up to, you can lead the conversation into what times will be best for a call. eg "ah so you work till 6, and then just chill at home?" and she may say yes, or give more info "Oh I have night class, but thursday I'll be home all day" or something but basically you should get a rough idea - and then DEFINITELY CALL when that time comes around.
