A natural once told me(not referring to PU but life in general) "In order to succeed in life, you must fail". I didn't get this at all. I was thinking that's the most fucked up thing I ever heard. However, now it makes sense to me.

Often people have a fear of failure. This will lead to them not attempting to achieve goals which they desire. Take the following example:

Tom- Tom made 10 goals, and achieved 9 of those. Success rate=90%
Jack- Jack made 20 goals, and achieved 16 of those. Success rate=80%

Who is more successful?

The answer is Jack. While Tom has the greater rate of success, it does not matter, because Jack has accomplished more of his desired goals than Tom has.
