The party is tomorrow, so if anyone got some useful to say, just shoot
Anyway I thought about a DHV story I could tell (true story)
In a situation when I lead the conversation around what was the stupidest/most scary situation/thing you did while working. (Could be improved I guess).
Right after high school I worked as an assistant at an orphanage in France. When I was there I ran I project doing a special activity with each of the children in my block, like going to the movies, football match etc. So this day I decided to go to a pool to swim with one of them (I had to take him alone, because he got bullied at the institution, he was really really over weight). He was bragging to me about his swimming skills, and that his mother thought him to swim when he was six. So we went to a big pool, which was quite deep, like 5 m. Then he just jumped into the pool, and sunk like a stone.
For 2 seconds I was like, "when will he start swimming", then I realized that he had lied to me and could not swim at all. There was no life guard around (this is not really true, but could spice things up a bit), so I had to dive down and get him up to the surface, which was not that easy because he was so fat(he was 10 and I 18 but we had like about the same weight at the time. He was really happy after this, and said it was great fun, while I was scared to death.
Is this DHV? I guess so, but how could I improve it?
Also should I make a big point out of it that he was fat, really fat? (this is true, tho not sure if girls like you saying this).
thanks
