so this morning when i get to class, this hb8 that sits a chair over and one up opens me up, bare in mind i havent said a word to her in two weeks, but she saw me last time we had class with another girl outside of the class, so that may have had something to do with it

so i sit down and this is what i remember

hb: hey did we have homework
ice: i dont know, you should know i never do it anyways
hb: yeah but you had the best grade on the test so you are doing something right
ice: yeah i admit i studied alot, it pays off
we go on to talk about other stuff and sports comes up...this is when two AFC's come in, one with a girlfriend
afc: to hb:did you fo your homework?(typical AFC question)
hb: no
somehow we start talking about other colleges
hb: my other college....blah blah
afc w/gf: what college did you go to?
hb: johnson & whales in...(whatever state its in)
afc w/gf: oh yeah my cousins girlfriend graduated from there w/ whatever degree
hb: yeah i went to school for culinary, but i didnt like it
ice: what did you do burn all the food?(smile)
hb: *laughs* shut up (playfully)
i continue the convo about some other shit completely leaving out the two guys and they go off to talk to each other about cars

didnt think it would be that easy, but i saw what happened because she seemed bored and talked with no emotion when answering the questions from the AFC's, but once i threw in the neg it opened her up and bought some light into the convo

yeah, im kinda friends with the one with the girlfriend, but nothing more than in class talk, the other guy comes out of left field with his conversations topics

im going to try and pursue and see where it goes, its tough though because she lives like a half hour from the school and she always has work after class so shes always rushing, i have to figure something out

You may want to game her and get her number or whatever, [and this
may sound AFC], but have you thought about just giving her your
number? Something like:

"Hey, you are more than welcome to join in on my next cram
session. Feel free to shoot me a text sometime. Just be warned. My
study sessions include the occasional beer."

This does a few things:

1. She's the one doing the chasing if she does contact you to study.

2. If she's interested in you otherwise, she may even contact you out
of the blue

3. Your open invite totally sidesteps the distance and work issues. If
she needs to study, she will not work. 30min away? that's nothing...

Just keep in mind that if she does take you up on a study session, you
have to be a fun, funny, interesting guy, and not make "moves" on her.
Just instigate kino and allow her to make the more forward moves. i.e.
pursue you
