So I met this girl through a friend and we hit it off. I saw her a couple times since and got her number. It seems to me that she's interested. I text her the other day and ask her to come out with a couple friends and get the whole "thanks for the offer but im working on a paper" deal. To me thats a rejection but the thing that is messing with me is that she insisted on texting me for the next three hours. Its not like I was asking her too many questions either, there were many chances for her to end the conversation. So what am I supposed to make of this?

It sounds like she was writing a paper, or didnt want to go out, or maybe she was lying and was already out someplace. Dont get trapped in the idea that she is the only girl in the world. This shouldnt matter, you should be out to meet girls if she didnt come. The idea that she kept texting was a very good thing. Just dont get stuck in a texting relationship which is what I always do. The phone is for conversations, texting is for quick messages. I say you are just fine and don't let her see your dissatisfaction.
