Ok so when you meet the girl your going on a date with how would you greet them?

I did K-Close the night i met her, so is a hug + kiss on the cheek too friendly?

Double cheek kiss. As you move from cheek to to cheek, be very close and maybe even just lightly brush her lips. On the way back, make sexual eye contact. See if she moves towards you.
