It is a sign actually, not one most men pay attention to, you will notice women do this from time to time, you have to pay attention though. Normally it means they have good posture when you arrive. More than a few studies have been done at beaches to watch guys and girls as they past individuals they are attracted to push their chest out. It is absolutely something men and women do subconsciously, I would pay closer attention if I was you.

I’ve actually noticed it a few times… the most recent is an Asian HB8 who works at the local Popeye’s, who always perks up when I come around. So I will vouch for this sign.

Co-sign. This is a signal that happens very often. It is a sign that requires careful examination. If a women is in high heels she already has that happening. If your in a chair it may not happen. Again context must be taken into consideration.

They have done studies (I believe a professor out of UCLA) where they observed two people passing each other on a beach and when they were attracted to the person they flaunted their traits. Men tended to push their chest out and straighten the shoulder with a more masculine walk women. Women conversely pushed their chest out, added submissive signals, and swayed their hips.
