So I sent a message to a HB9 who said she wouldn't date atheists on her profile but she's ok with having sex. Here's the list of conversation. What could I reply to escalate the situation and is this worth pursuing? I'm an atheist and it is written on my profile.

ME:
Hey
I got curious on our low match. Not that I wanna date you, but you say you wouldn't date an atheist. I just wanted to know why...

HB
because I am a Christian... and I'm dating right now in hopes of finding a husband... and I don't want my husband being an athiest, and my children having two very different beliefs in the same home. Also, I want a husband who will understand me spiritually and have the exact same beliefs as I do- which an athiest could not do, as we would not have Christ in common. I see it as you can have faith that somethiing came from nothing... or an infinate being lovingly created you- and as both are faith founded, of course I chose the one which actually makes me special, you special, everyone special, and cherished... not just something random. It is very obvious I have a soul... and science has never been able to expain that. Good luck to you Sam.

Me:
Thanks, that was a comprehensive answer. It makes sense to make a decision like that when you're looking for a husband. For me it's difficult to decide to spend the rest of my life with someone I haven't lived with before, or haven't had sex with. I hope you can find your "the one".

HB:
I have sex... a lot... and i've lived with someone... just because i believe in a creator doesn't mean i live my life in a box... i don't. i'm very out of the box... most people describe me as eccentric... and i also don't like to live by the rules... i believe in what the bible says... but i also believe that it was written a long time ago- and was very true and applicable to the society at that time... obviously we live in a very different time- and i'm not trying to add or take from the bible- but certain things are different now. that's not saying i think it's a good idea to sleep with someone different every night- but we're getting married later in this society, and obviously as completely matured adults we're going to have needs- specificially sex. anyhow- good luck with finding the "one" yourself. i do happen to know very successful christian couples who did wait until marriage- and they have no regrets. i just did not think i needed to do that.

Thanks

I don't see what the problem is. She made it clear she wants her partner in life to be the same religion as her, but at the same time she is not an uptight religious girl either.

I guess I wasn't clear about what I want to know. I wanna know if a case like this is worth pursuing for a short term relationship?
