I let this hold me up a lot in HS too. In retrospect I should have gotten either a friend that is older and had a car (social proof) to drive, or if you live in a city with decent transit, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH TRANSIT, or if you don't have either of those options, then just bite the bullet and get your parents to drive you to places that you can't walk to. Everyone has parents, so just make sure you let your parents know not to be douchebags and fuck up your game (in a nice manner of course) and if they do do anything stupid, then you have an easy icebreaker when you get out of the car, "Ugg, parents eh? "

Make sure if you are getting a ride, to sit in the back seat with her, otherwise it is just awkward. That way you can also make jokes about anything your parents might say as well and can build great EC.

This was a problem for me as well back in HS, I let not being able to drive keep me out of social situations. I always said, "when I am able to drive, I will get a date and go places." I got my driver's license and had no game to get a date. So even if you can't drive you can walk.

Get a ride to her house and walk some where from there.

Plan to go somewhere after school with her(works especially well if your school is close to a nice downtownish area)

Walking is a good way to slow things down and just talk and build comfort. Your not totally isolated by the inside of a car, she won't be as timid about what you might do.

Ah, you kids are growing up so fast. [wipes tear from eye] haha

Rye Lee has it. You've got options. Plus, there's nothing
to be embarrassed about... esp. since you're in high school.

Tell her you hope she has a big trunk... so you can fit your bicycle in it. :D
