I'm new to the PUA scene, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it quickly. Last night was the first time I was conscious of what I was doing and my surroundings. I went to a bar with some friends, and I noticed a high 7 kept looking at me. I was going to open with some non-verbal, but I ended up ignoring her - most likely because I didn't know where to go from there. The night progressed and I noticed she kept walking by me, so I kept ignoring her presence - although I know there was a prime opportunity to open.

Later, I had my back to her talking to a friend and she starts dancing with me from behind. In hindsight, I feel like I should have asked her if she does that to all the guys she meets for the first time. After 30 seconds of dancing she said I should unbutton my top button, so I responded with "You should". Again in hindsight, I feel like it could have been better to tell her I don't let women undress me until after the first date. Then she had some drunk ramble about how my shirt was white and it will get dirty, and it pretty much ended there.

Good news is a buddy and I were sitting at a table with two girls on the other end. One of them goes to the bath room so I ask the other a question about what my buddy should do in a situation. The three of us started to talk, then her friend came back so I started to talk to her. I got her number as the night ended, and I'm going to call her up tomorrow to see if she wants a drink after work and watch the redskins game.

It was a fun night and I learned a bit, but I need some more experience so I can think on my feet.

Yeah definitely sounds like you got some IOI's and had no idea how to handle them.
