Ok, my first field report and first post for that matter.

Me and my friend were out doing day game going to a bookstore with a coffee shop inside. So my friend approaches these 2 girls sitting down in the corner (corners are terrible to begin with ). So he uses the opinion opener on who cheats more men or women. There was a root a time constraint good energy and guess what happens?

One of the girls says in a slightly playfull and annoyed tone "hey you read the game didnt you?"

So my friend ejects because it caught him really offguard.

Later on we were discussing that maybe if girls say that again we can use it to our advantage and just plough through it. Or do you guys think that its a big DLV anyways so u should eject quickly.

HB: Have you read the game.
Scent: Yeh, have you?
HB: Yeh I think it's for sad losers.
Scent: Don't be so hard on yourself.
HB: No, I mean people who need to use the stuff in there to talk to women.
Scent: You'd be amazed how hard it is to talk to women you've never met before. I think it really helps some people out.
HB: People should be able to talk to each other without needing a manual.
Scent: *Silent*
HB: So were you trying to pick us up?
Scent: As I said, I am over there with my friend and...... *blah blah*


I couldn't have made her much ruder in that mock chat really. She tried to call me a loser and ended up calling herself a loser, then she had to validate herself to me. Then I make a statement of fact, which she tries to disagree with but I do not argue with her. After that, she runs out of things to say about it and has to change the frame herself, at which point I bring it round to the last thing I said, and continue my game.

There really is not very much that can go wrong. You can only get so worked up about things and the moment you get her to grudgingly agree to something you say, suddenly you are on her side.


It's just another shit test. Most people will not be that hostile about it and it'll be way easier than that. My advice though, is not to use openers from a best selling book. Think of a new one.

Dude i love the way u turn it around on them. In our case they weren't hostile and it was a total shit test which could have been dealt with.

Guess thats what you get with girls in a bookstore haha.

How I'd do it roughly(GM style)

HB: Have you read the game?
ME: Isn't that a book on how to get laid?
HB: Uh... Yeah
ME: Wait you've read it?
HB: Yeah
ME: I am not some piece of meat! Here you are sitting in the corner LAYing your trap. Using your magic pickup knowledge to lure me and seduce me!
-Pause- When she starts to say something cut her off all the while acting hurt
Me: I'm not some sort of slut ok!
And now that she has no Effing clue what just happened, you can cut her off again when she starts trying to stammer something out

ME: I guess I forgive you (hug right then)... So... you try to seduce unsuspecting men often?

Since we are new at this ( we know a lot of PUA stuff however its just that we started testing it out recently)

How common is this type of response if you use canned stuff especially like opinion openers.

I would imagine the VH1 show might be killing it.

Well I would guess that with the VH1 show in the states/canada (I am from the UK and have no idea where it is played) girls are probably getting used to people using those kinds of openers on them.

People who watch a show on TV or read a watered down book by a dude with a goatee are not PUA's though. They use techniques that many PUA's use in the field and once they are done running their routines, and using their openers, they drop back into AFC mode like a shot.

The A in PUA is there for a good reason. We are artists of human social interaction. No interaction is beyond our ability to control, and if an interaction feels out of control, it simply becomes a challenge to bring it back under control.

Once you have mastered asking women who they think lies the most, you should master starting off with something outrageous and still being able to turn the situation around. Try opening with "Hey, you look like a nice girl, but I bet your feet smell." I did that last month and shit you not when I say I fClosed her 2 days later.


My point is that you shouldn't worry so much about whether the girl has heard the opener before or what she will say, and whether what she says ruins your chances of closing with her. If it takes 1000 openings with 1000 new sets to master, then so be it. Your aim is to put yourself as deep into the shit as you possibly can and then dig your way our of it. If you can do that then you can have any girl you like.

HB: You read the game didn't you?
Scent: Slut *Smile*
HB: What did you just call me you asshole?!

If you can get out of that, then you won't be worrying about whether she has heard your opener before.
