Met an HB 9 the other night. High level of attraction for me (we made out a lot, grabbed my dick a lot, and told me I better call her about 10 times).
I wait two days, call her today. She picks up (very friendly)...
Things go "ok" for a few minutes, just regular stupid talk, I make her laugh a lot.
Then, I tell her I can't make it to down to the event she invited me to at her school on Wednesday.
She forgot that she even invited me to the thing. I bust her balls a little for this, asking her if she's "that" girl, etc... she laughs. I then get on a sidetrack, and invite her sorority to a philanthropic event I'm hosting later this month (I legit am, and it's part of my job to recruit sororities from other schools) She says "definnitely, just let me talk to my chapter tomorrow."
Then blah blah... we get to the fuckup...
Me: So you should come up here Tuesday
HB: What for? (could be a b/s - but she sounded genuinely interested - giving me an opening)
Me: I promised you a pasta dinner, so we can do that (I had promised to cook her dinner and I know I shouldn't have said this -- don't reward for nothing)... then we can go to a party...my friends are having a party. (I kind of froze up a tiny bit, but was pretty cool saying it.
HB: Hmm... I'll have to let you know, I have a midterm this week and I'm not sure which day it is...
Me: cool, whatever
HB: I'll call you tomorrow, what time are you gonna be available
Me: 8
HB: Ok, I'll call you tomorrow, and let you know what my chapter says (she doesn't mention Tuesday)
Me: Yah, let me know what's up with Tuesday too.
HB: I will.
Me: Ok later

Complete fuck up? Or do you think she actually will call, and if she can't do the date, how can a resurrect a different one?

If she doesn't call, I will call her, using the excuse of asking if her sorority will be coming to the philanthropy event (I purposefully used this so I can leave a message without showing interest, and she will have to talk to me again)
and when I get her on the phone, again, what can I do to resurrect a date?

She sounds like she likes romantic guys so cook her a nice meal. Maybe throw in some frozen food or take out food if you cant cook. Set up some wine, some dessert, and compliment her as always. Have a nice convo, stir up some jokes, and when the time is right watch a movie.

But I'm wondering if the whole "I have a midterm, let me call you and let you know" thing was a blowoff or legitimate comment. I can handle things once she gets up here (I can cook), but that's assuming she even comes up...

Its legitimate because if she was blowing you off she would have said I have a midterm so things cant go as planned. Since she said ill call you and let you know than she really must have a midterm. Ask if she needs help studying :p

And what can I do to resurrect a different date if things don't work out. She has shit to do on Thursday and Saturday, but she will be free Friday (though she will probably want to stay low key, since she has parties on Thurs and Sat.

Well if she has parties you better go. If its like college parties go out with her and have a good time. Plus..youll get to know her better. If she says you sure you want to come? than say nvm got plans. Obviously she just wants to get away from relationships. Doesnt mean she doesnt want to see you again but girls like to have girl moments. So if she says yea sure go and meet her friends and maybe they will tell you more about her.

yeah, I wish it was that simple, but my only day is Friday. Thursday she is going out to Knotts farm with her sorority (girls night out - no guys thing) and Saturday she has an exchange with a fraternity, so I wouldn't be allowed to go... although, she did say the exchange was going to be lame, cuz she couldn't drink, so I could tell her to skip it and come up here. Only thing is, she might be required to go... so I'd still then be better off shooting for friday.. but then it'd have to be a low key idea... haha - quite the rock and hard place here

Ok, no I don't think you fucked up, YET. But, I wouldn't be too eager to call her either. Wait to see if she calls you first, when she said she would. If not, then you could bust on her saying that she's a flake. I do that stuff to girls myself. Just don't be EAGER.

So I figure if she doesn't call me tomorrow night, I'll wait until Tuesday night (when we would have been hanging out) to call her, and I'll call her a flake... good call...

Well, not all of us are good with schedules, lol. I know I didn't always remember what day I had what test on.

She's a party girl, and she goes to a pretty low quality school, so I figure she's being truthful, since education is probably at the lower end of her priorities.

Well, Saint, with your description of her being a party girl, I think calling her out for being a flake is the most likely scenario of what to expect. Just bust her balls for that and see where things go from there.
