hey guys, thought id share an opener with you that i kind of suprised myself with and it actually worked.

i was at a bar and this HB9 was talking to some random guy behind me and i overheard her say something about not being a bitch, just coming off as one sometimes, i turned around and laughed and said:

me: if you come off as one, that usaully means that you are one (50/50 serious/joking)
her: thanks, i probably am (mostly serious)
me: no problem, just thought id bring you down to a more human level (mostly joking)

at this point her attention was focused on me and not the guy she had just been talking to

her: well, what if i like being on a super human level, what if i think being normal is boring... my name is XXXX by the way (playful and smiling)
me: well, now that i know you can take a joke, my name is XXXX. but hey, listen, if your one of those types of girls that usually go for jerks, then im probably not your type

after saying that last bit about not being her type, it hinted at the notion that she was now trying to pick me up!
anyways we spent most of the night flirting and talking, but in the end i went home alone . i kind of fucked it up for myself later on in the night haha. but at least the opener worked haha.

i think that throwing in that bit about not being her type would work with a lot of other neg openers, it shows that you dont really care if she likes you or not, which she may see as a challenge for herself

anyways let me know what you guys think? and yes i know that this opener is set specific, but what are some variations that you can think of that might be less set specific?

Don't know about the opener. It's a situational opener but the way you did it was smooth. Also, telling her about not being your type was smooth.

i don't know the way you game but you said you went home alone. Sounds like if you played it properly, you could have at least number closed or pulled.

Again, I don't know the way you game. But If you don't already do it, I would highly suggest you start working on kino with push and pull. This will create lots of sexual tension and it helps a lot when it comes to SNL if your logistics are in place. I get in to heavy kino but I never touch boobs, pussy, or even go for a kiss.

I agree that the opener could easily backfire if your delivery is off or she's not in the right mood, but this:

oh ya man... i totally agree with you about the self respect thing, but it was the manner of speaking/tone i used. i came across as nonhostile/threatening, and she took it just as it was: someone hitting on her. fact of the matter is, she was a surprisingly down to earth girl... even if she was insecure about something, she didnt burst into tears and start ramming chocolate down her throat lol

but yes i do agree... it could have been an ugly situation had she taken it to heart. that was a risk i took, and isnt this whole being a pua thing about taking risks?
