So im new to becoming a PUA and im in the process of getting rid of approach aniety which is a huge problem for me. So what im doing is just asking random people questions on how to get somewhere or where i can buy such and such and keeping the conversation going long as possible.

One i tend to use on girls is where can i find a good shop to buy my sister a birthday present of designer clothes because i work in a different town from where i live.

Does this question sound a bit wierd and will girls interperet it as im secretly buying presents for a girlfriend or something?

If you are going to specify its best to say you are looking for a gift for your mother or sister.

Regarding approach anxiety.. I learned early on that if you want to be a good PUA you will have to choose between Pride and Results. Which one is more important to you? You can't have both.

The scariest part about approaching women is not knowing how she will react. Just understand that nothing horrible is going to happen. At worst.. she will be rude. This is not the end of the world.

For me.. I approach with complete emotional detachment. Basically like a sport. Once she gives her numbe or shows interest.. I will THEN open up a little and show myself. But until then.. its all an act. This protects me from feeling hurt if she acts like a bitch.

I prefer to say i'm looking for a gift for a young female friend, from there i ask her what kind of things she likes, what kind of clothes. I get her to talk about her taste in this and that. It gives me far better material and flow than saying i want something for a relative.
